Great video dude, i got a couple copies of Mad World as i managed to get them for a few quid each, only problem is i haven't got a Wii, game looks awesome though and it should of got way more attention when it was released.
Another underrated series --Front Mission. If you are a squaresoft and strategy fan, you have got to try FM 1 to 5. The details they put into the system and graphics are absolutely amazing, not to mention the engrossing storyline.
Nice one mate, I keep meaning to get back into Dante's Inferno - I used to have it on the 360 but will probably grab it again on the PS3 next time.
Interesting to hear you rate Ninja Blade - i've never tried it based on the fact that I thought the screenshots made it look a little cheap but perhaps i'm judging a book by it's cover! I'll have to give it a fair crack of the whip :)
I read an article this year on a japanese gaming site that the director of the Onimusha series wants to reboot it soon. They probably just took a break because they made 4 games in a row.
awesome list. I never played much of gradius advance but i will give it another shot. I only played it via emulation years after its release. I think madworld is truly amazin. I am hoping its spiritual sequel anargy reigns is just as good!!! What ever happened to onimusha right! I love 2 and 4!!! 4 was more of an action rpg but its great if you havent played it. It longer than all of them too!!! What kind of tea was that btw lol
I loved arkainoid ever since I played it in the Nes it truly is an underated series. Layer section 2 is great but I still think part one is so much more fun. Ninja Blade I gotta say is a great one I don't know why it got such a bum rap. Hellfire for it's time was amazing it's just not held up too well over the years compared to other shooters. It's still a fun one to play on occasions for me.
I especially like that it's so well crafted in every aspect (and has f*ing Mechs!). It's a shame though that they left the dialogue out for us poor western gamers. Earth is one of my favourite planets as well! :) Have you ever played the sequel on Saturn and can you say If it' s as good?

It really is a huge shame that this was cut on release to the UK, it was probably done to get the game out quickly and save a bit of money eh? Nope I've never played the sequel -there was a PS2 game in the series too wasn't there?
I really can't imagine why they cut the game since the dialogoue seems to be in tact. And then there was this suicidescene at the end which got cut out as well, as far as I remember... The PS2-Version is almost identical to the SNES-game, only with a crappy arrange soundtrack.
Layer section 2 is a game that i need to give a second chance,the first game is so good that the second is a hard pill to swallow but for what it is,its still a great shmup.
I bought XIII back in the day and by the time i completed it i didnt like it.
onimusha 1 is a cracking game,havent played the others though.

I'm sure everyone has games like this eh mate :D Onimusha 2 and 3 are amazing but 4 is supposed to be even more stunning - still not picked it up yet myself. If you don't mind me asking which one game would you choose from your collection.
Cracking set of games you've picked out, I must have some more bouts on Guilty Gear judging by what you say, I dont think I've ever gone back to it after the day I bought it which looks like it may be criminal :}
Nice twist having Hellfire at the end, for a moment I thought you meant the series, I was a bit shocked as Hellfire is in my top 3 pc engine shooters, I 100% agree the pc engine version rocks when compared to the md version, still good but not a patch on the engine version.
