Hey man this sounds like a dumb question but on the top of the cabinet is there Knobs for control? I'm looking into buying an
Ampeg SVT 18E Cabinet and Im just wondering if there are ways to adjust the volume and basic things like that. There was only two pictures on ebay , front and back not the top of the cabinet so I was wondering if you could answer me that.
@DanDude247 there arent controls on the cabinet it self, you need to also get a head unit to provide the actuall signal going into the speakers, thats the part with the knobs(vol, tone etc) hope that helps
@DanDude247 if it says cabinet, then it is just a cabinet without any control for volume except for some with a horn, then it has a horn attenuator at the back, you control everything in the head (volume, bass, treble, mids, etc) if it says combo, then you will see adjustment knobs either at the top or at the back, SVT 18E is a cabinet, which has been discontinued by now, so you're lucky if ever you get one! hope this answer your question. Keep on slappin that bass!
