This is really funny, when I was a kid I watched this film and thought it was all in mandarin/cantonesewhatever...

I learned Japanese over the last few years and the asian bad guy speaks japanese in a funny accent.

Also the bad guy says 'o-mae ha tau long ka?' （「お前はタウロングか？」） which is incredibly disrespectful language. given that they are both martial arts experts you'd expect a more polite form... that's bad guys for you, i guess.
