I'm sick of people giving out wrong info. The opponent's soul gauge does NOT need to be flashing red, yours just has to be full. I've done critical finishes tons of times without their meter being drained.

Then you're using some kind of cheat. Their soul gauge DOES have to be flashing red when you hit them hard strike or Guard Break. Then when they are blown back and red electricity shows, hit LB(XBX360) or in this case (L1). This info is fine. You can use the critical finsh even if your Soul Gauge is flashing red.

That at least sounds better then the penguin shit the english actors call acting. I mean, when you beat a female character, it doesn't sound like it. The only thing that made it any sort of dramatic is the echo during their death cry.
