This is all well and good, you can do it on every paintball gun out there even pistols (if I understand correctly) but when I told someone who had a chrono about it they said that it shoots 40+ bps and not even the five billion dollar speedball hoppers can keep up with that. I have heard it said that this might work better if you shorten the return spring but I don't know. If you want full auto just wait until someone has a response trigger on ebay for really cheap.

@01supra along with the 98 custom egrip that sanoj164 mentioned, i have seen (once and only once) a 98c with an a5 egrip on it, the old grip was milled off completely and the new one was attached, i would not recommend this for someone new to the sport (not knowing how a marker works perfectly well) or to someone who doesn;t have the tools or experience, also i have seen eblades used with the pneumatic hammer and spyder(?) egrips used, all of which would require tremendous amounts of work

The problem with this is the marker fires so fast it will bust most of the paint! If you had a regalater it would work but it cost more then getting a E-Grip!

a better way to get your 98 to shoot faster without chopping paint is to adjust the spring tension to make the trigger pull really light this makes it shoot as fast as a reactive trigger basically and it doesnt cost a thing worked great on my 98 i was emptying paint faster tahn my brothers x7 with the e trigger

It's a good idea for select fire; however, I found a little bit different way of doing this before watching the video and unfortunately that kind of full auto is SO fast that even my q-loader can't feed it without continuously breaking paintballs. Therefore, we'd need to find a way to actually slow down the auto for this to be effective.

You could never find a hopper that would feed that fast. Also the force from the hammer is not coming from the distance it was made to be, so it's going to be inconsitent in shooting. I mean, other than those though, I guess it's kinda neat.

ok have you tested this at all? like with a superhuman feeding system becouse if the bolt is just shooting freely and nothing stalling it all im pretty sure that it will shoot well over 30BPS which = a lot of chopped paint, even with high end feeders

No, 98 customs can't cycle that fast, it will go max 20-25 bps, it'll be chaotic though

ok my suggestion for switching single to auto would be put a hole in oh i cant make a vid response because my mom hid her cam >:{ but put a hole in the gun like were you can put a pivoting slider thing like on an airsoft gun to change how many bullets you shoot and turn it then mark were it slides drll or glue a pin half the size the regular one is on the pivot thing then you can slide the pin from the end of the steer down to the hole and stop the siver thing witch then it would make it sigle

I did this once to try it, but instead I put a piece of zippo flint in the sear slot to hold it forward. I couldn't fire 1 shot, the shortest I could do was 2. Long story short, get a response trigger

me and my son just did this mod and DAMN!!!!! only shot air noway anykind of hopper could feed the balls that quick but cool to play with, this mod works and my bolt did travel full cycle and reseated itself, now come up with a warp speed mod for a hopper and we'll own the field

Yeah man i hear ya, this isn't a real upgrade, it's by accident this happens, There are no hoppers to keep up with this mod. Also you would need a crap load of air and paint to even try this fire mode. I suggest the response trigger, I set mine to 10-12 a second, perfect.

did this with my 98 doesnt work. this doesnt even work with the cyclone feeding the balls in. the bolt does not completely cycle. hence 200 broken paintballs before you even know what happened

...Um... Its not that hoppers are too slow to feed this, guy, its that the bolt is NOT completing a full cycle.

What you can do to replicate the effect your are doing is just to take out the sear completely. Fast, but it does not cycle all of the way.

Don't Fire it it with paintballs, at least for now. It will work correctly dry-fired, but no hopper (qloader exception) currently has the speed to load that fast. I'm experimenting with spring-fed clips to see if they work, however.

Thats nice dude. I know a way to make it select fire. Drill a little hole big enough for that pin to fit through make sure it fits so you can push and pull the pin so that you can push it in and out put to select fire :)

Is there anyway to use this mod for improved reactive trigger? If the full auto mod and reactive is on at the same time it should be easier in teory to get the sweetspot cuz the trigger cant reset and u have to start the sweetspotting again.
