Last year I sang with Youth Brigade at the VFW in Orangevale (Sacramento), CA. I sang this song too! Shawn gave me his mic and I sang the first part of the song and then skanked my ass off in the pit as Shawnt took back the mic! I was thrown into the merch table and knocked some shit off the table and get socked in the face and my fucking nose got fucked up!
The proliferation of 'piggy' shows is nauseating, tho' nothing new as the wealthy find them useful in reinforcing the blatantly false credo of service and protection of the general public at large. It is only the rich & powerful that they serve... but then I'm "preachin' to tha choir" on this point. -Master of the Obvious.
Shit crowd? imagine every punk show in south florida being like this: lots of people, no movement. it sucks down here. Calling it a "shit crowd" is quite an understatement. Unless, of course, your band is The Panix. look them up on youtube for their show at Uncle Sams, you'll see what i mean.
