When rip said why is she robotic and then the expert said something about ancient japanese stuff. He guessed right, I seen a documentary on something about it. There is a old japanese discipline for using a bow like that kind of like the samurai bushido discipline. I vaguely remember it but if u want to prove me wrong go ahead. Vaguely recalling from memory but the reason she looks robotic with the bow is cause the discipline is about shooting without thinking or shooting automatically.

i use askua and im pretty good but i did notice playing online that she has no punishers but i love to reverse people. this just showed me how terrible she really is as a whole i have alot of work to do with her. lol but ill keep practicing thanks

asuka has a high/mid punch parry (2+3) and a low parry free bee (d/f 1+2). she is the epitome of D!! the stagger grab thing (d/b 1+2) is good for more defense set ups. tech'ing / sidewalk combo's / parries / reversal / fakes / grabs

Very nice show. The volume is a bit anoying tough, you have to turn it up a lot to hear what insomnitek says. Then my ears hurt when the dorya sound comes or the combovideo music

Nice videos. It's very informative and I think this is a must watch for every Tekken players- even for "experts" (Doriya! Yeah :D). Nice video/audio quality, fluent english and not to mention professionally done. My initial assumption was that Namco Bandai PAID them to do this vids but I saw a small comment somewhere on their page that implies otherwise... I guess we're lucky to have them upload these videos.

they say her punishers are lacking. She isnt underpowered by any means. Maybe at tournament play, but not casuals.

no not exactly. she may not excel at punishing like the players above were saying but she still has other offensive strengths such as a Counter-Hit Low Launcher and "ken-ken"(sp?) kicks which hop over sweeps. Her mix ups from punch strings are decent as well since they hit in a high - mid sequence as supposed to a lot other characters' high - high punch strings.

@Ichizuharu Strength isnt power. Speed and slight of hand can also be labeled power.

Punish wit her jab mix ups. I assure u your opponent wont duck. Buffer a grab after a punish jab to mix it up more. One set up I like to use, I should not be telling u this, is 2,1, 1+2(cancel), grab. Works like a charm! Punishers dont always have to be 10,12,15 frames. If someone swings at air, which happens alot, u can punish with just about anything. Fighting is about not getting hit.

Come on guys we want to get people into the scene and into playing tekken. Don't go through all the trouble of doing such a great production just to dissuade people from picking the character your trying to teach them to play. Plus I hate that Americana way of thinking where you have to pick higher teir characters to win. This isn't MVC2 where matches like Servbot vr. Sentinal exist, Tekken's pretty balanced

@thejuggernaut81 You can't fault them for being honest. I would rather have honesty then them pulling wool over your eyes. If someone really wants to play Asuka they will. And you can't really compare anything to MvC2 its a Frankenstein but when you think about it the pros that play MvC2 have some of the greatest execution skills in the fighting game scene.

@thejuggernaut81 Yeah, I'm glad that I'm not the only one that's a little disappointed in the American attitudes. They always seem the most susceptible to tier listings and place psychological barriers over any character classified as low tier. A great European Asuka player took a tournament recently and this Saturday there's a Japanese tournament that has a huge percentage of Yoshi players. You can scoff all you want America, low tier in T6 is still competitive.

@outofrealmen i am not sure his guitar binds but ya i have used it with his sav 1+2 launcher. and the computer recognizes it as a juggle so. ya? but ya however, it seems to only work with that launcher. correct me if i am wrong.
