Yes. If you check elsewhere in the comments, you would find I had posted it. First piece is Road of the Gypsies by Loyko. Second is Eskidendi, cok Eskiden by Sezan Aksu.
Amazing grace & control & beautiful emotional expression which moved me to tears, especially the handing over of the veil & the ending. I imagine the symbolique of a mother giving her daughter something to build her future on & then sits back & watches how her daughter's life enfolds. This is art !!!!!!!
I am in love...please someone give me the name of this piece of music, since the first time I heard it I haven't slept properly...if violins cry metaphorically...this is where they cry for real. As for the dance...this is beautiful, but the music is too powerful, even for this magnificent dancer.
Absolutely inspiring performance and choreography. Such a beautiful and intimate portrayal of the passing of the flame from our mothers to our daughters.
You hit the nail on the head thats the best way I've heard anyone discribe that performance! I was struggling to find the words to discribe it but you put it beautifully.
Isidora is soooo cool, both as a dacner as well as a human being. I had the pleasure of taking a seminary with her and Sadie in Mexico City, she is TOO cool!!
I am so moved at the emotional range of Isidora. It is a beautiful reflrction of what we as women hold dear of the important women in our lives. Thank you for such an intense portrayal of this !
This performance is my most favorite of all! Ms Bushkovski you are my idol! Your dancing really is a beautiful visual translation of the emotion expressed in the music. And the shift from the playfulness and decisiveness in the fan dance to the longing and sadness in the double veil is so marked! You are wonderful!
My little daughters think you are wonderful! My little ones are up tonight with the flu and I am trying to keep them happy. They are sad that they feel too sick to dance but they are making fans from paper to dance with when they feel better, hopefully tomorrow afternoon! Thank you for the inspiration!
No matter what dance I watch of yours, it is a completely unique and always breath taking experience. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us!!
Beautiful... I love that there's isn't a lot of "overworking" you see in a lot of dancers... the dance is fairly simply, but beautiful execution and presence make it fantastic.
Due to porn spammers, I've had to change to comments by approval on all the vids I've posted. Please don't hesitate -- I'm not censoring "real" comments!
Please, what song is used for the fan dance? A Both are beautiful performances! I'd like to know the name of the song for the veil dance too, please post credits for the songs.
She is one of my dearest friends and a great source of inspiration and encouragement. The story--*grin*--when one of us has difficulty flying, the other tends to provide extra wing support...and always will.
I am your newest fan! You're incredible! I got the Temptation of Belly Dance DVD, and your performances there are awesome as well! Your energy and connection with the music and your dance is overwhelming! Keep on the great work!
Well that made me cry lol
