I think he takes this to an extreme. He has his own working assumptions. Is it going to be okay at woodland hills to start questioning the veracity of the bible? What good is an infallible book with all sorts of wacky interpretations in a situation where no one can really say what is for sure the truth. His working assumptions about Jesus and the bible is just a reduced approach of the same thing.
