You should be flying at 2500 or lower when 10 miles from the airport. You turn on the app at 10 miles away too. I use the atc to get coordinates for lining up for the ILS approach and descent calculations.. See my ILS tutorial

@jj7184 There is no gps. this plane is flown from a FMS. its modeled after the real thing.
