i dont get it...i set up my dazzle just like it was supposed to be, except for some reason my windows movie maker doesnt have the "capture from video device" option on it. i have windows vista and i dont really know if that would make a difference, would it? i have to use that shitty pinnicle crap to record, then convert it to a dvd, and then do a bunch of other crap just to get it on movie maker. im confused, someone help

it makes a massive difference having Vista...

on Vista they took that option away FOR SOME REASON because Vista sucks major ass haha...

there is other free editing software out there that is alot better than WMM just search for it on Google =]

all you have to do is put your mic in your laptop and record your voice and record your dazzle at the same time... then just go to your editing software and put the two together =]

Do you add narration after the video or do you do it during?

I try to do it during and I can't get the sound of the game and the mic sound to come out at the same time, I can hear the mic clearly but the game very slightly in the background.

I have vista if you need to know what OS i'm using.

i can help. I have vista & downloaded hypercam 2. my mic works fine with sound & my voice ( Though it greatly distorts it like Milkwad's old account, BUT WORSE). try moviing closer to the monitor speaker. for the best sync of video & audio(Your mic recording your voice & any other sound like your computer)

1- frame rate ratio

100- key frame

auto select- compresser

hypercam 2 will also record sound if a mic is plugged in so you can record during playing unstead of after.

I don't use a headset,i just record audio on hypercam,and just use that for my voice. (It sounds like crap without a headset though...)

Hmm...I prefer the dazzle but I have a low budget and I am (and parents) a cheap bastard. Hypercam for free and go through a lot of trouble. Man don't make me choose. :(
