I've come to the conclusion global warming is a myth. "Supposedly" our Earth has been getting hotter for how long? Since 1880 it is about 1 degree hotter? People were still taking a crap in the woods or in outhouses up until the start of the 20th century and the USA didn't have a satellite in space until Jan. 31, 1958. Ground instruments to measure ozone were invented in 1924 but were not very accurate and only measured a small area. There is absolutely no way on knowing what ozone layers were during the industrial revolution.

I've come to the conclusion global warming is a myth. "Supposedly" our Earth has been getting hotter for how long? Since 1880 it is about 1 degree hotter? God, yes I said God, and I'll say it again, GOD created the earth, positioned it PERFECTLY from the sun to keep it from getting too hot. I personally believe the earth to be approximately 10,000 years old and it hasn't incinerated yet, and if it hasn't done so in that amount of time, it won't. If God wanted us dead, he'd just do it himself.

@truthslap I think its funny, and very comforting that the Chicago Climate Exchange went out of business. basically this brings an end to the scam known as carbon credits. The only people who would have benefitted from "crap and tax" would have been the Democrat party and Goldman Sachs. These dreaded "Wall St fat cats" would have got filthy rich while the rest of us suffered under high costs on everything. Thank God its out of business!

@truthslap I guess that's why Rush hasn't had to resign but the leading climate scientist at University of East Anglia had to resign in the face of emails leaked by fellow scientists that had him admitting the data actually showed a decline in global temps AND how to manipulate the data, leaving out real facts, (lying) to support global warming. @PatriotTK421 If I remember correctly, the emails were a random selection, taken out of context. that's hardly proof of anything. Climate Change has the consensus of scientists, it's not about "warming" or "cooling", it's about the carbon cycle breaking down and global temperature stability being thrown permanently out of equilibrium. Scientists purposely refer to it as "climate change", not global warming, because a bunch of nit-picking lobbyists and republican voters are caught up with words.

@PatriotTK421 manipulated data to make the case for global warming appear stronger than it is. Leaving data out for a 10 year period to hide "unfortunate" COOLING of temps is lying and cheating. They are scientists! They aren't supposed to leave out data or have an agenda, but they do so they can get more funding. If "Global warming" or "climate change" came from a Republican, you'd be crying foul like a little baby in the light of all the facts.

@PatriotTK421 first, I absolutely agree that scientists are not suppose to have any agenda. However, scientists have to be paid by somebody, it's an unfortunate matter of fact that most scientific data today is paid for by corporations who sponsor the research, who are obviously vested in finding specific results rather than conducting real scientific research. the thing is, all science today adds up to that. I strongly agree however that absence of peer review and leaving out data is egregious.

@PatriotTK421 secondly, nobody's arguing that we're not between ice ages, you're doing the straw man thing, obviously climate change does naturally occur. the issue at hand is the the ozone layer, which protects us from UV rays and creates the greenhouse effect. carbon depletes the ozone layer, and if you simply refer to the chart that shows the historic increase in carbon emissions since the industrial revolution, and if you learn about the balanced carbon cycle, you should see the problem.

I wish Al Gore didn't get behind the issue at all, because causes like this are not helped by politicians, but only with scientists and public awareness. like you said, we'll just have to agree to disagree about the science.

@truthslap Deforestation/pollution are terrible, I can agree. I just have trouble with the "data". People were still taking a crap in the woods or in outhouses up until the start of the 20th century and the USA didn't have a satellite in space until Jan. 31, 1958. Ground instruments to measure ozone were invented in 1924 but were not very accurate and only measured a small area. There is absolutely no way on knowing what ozone layers were during the industrial revolution.

Science 101: Plants use C02 to grow and provide us with oxgyen to breathe! Such a fundamental concept. According to the BBC, the tempature of earth hasnt risen in 11 years. People gather to environmental gatherings to speak for global warming and they do so in the cold of the morning. Global warming is down, gone, fake.

Rush is not a Nazi. Nazi is an abreviation of National Socialist Party. The Nazis were called the German Workers Party and they later changed the name to National Socialist. The Republican Party does not believe in socialism oe big government. What you said applies more to Obama, Nancy Polosi, Harry Reid and Al Gore. They are all very wealthy people with lavish lifestyles. Obama was put into office by the wealthy power elite on Wall Street. Obama and the Democrats has given billions of dollars to the banks and Wall Street firms. i also loved it when obama's flight was diverted to new york because the washington, d.c. airport was closed down due to snow and ice. he was returning from a global warming conference in denmark.
