Not its not its division 2. Still big boy football though. The top schools from D2 and D3 could easily compete with D1 schools. D4 on down is where the football talent starts to drop off.
I go to a div 4 school and our running back jack foy got offeres from michigan state, michigan, ohio state and other top schols. And we only have one other player that has went to college for football.
I was talking about overall team competitiveness. You might have one great player, but if you played a D1 school you would get smoked. Your line wouldn't be big enough, your QB wouldn't be good enough and your D wouldn't be fast enough.
Its just the down side of going to a small school, you don't have as big of "pool" to choose from.
Our offensive line has 98% block rating, and we do play d1 teams. We usally stay with them if not we beat them. Yearly we play Trotwood Madison, which is one of the top recruiting highschools in ohio. Our team averages a 4.6 fourty. We could keep up easily with most teams. But the reason we dont go to state tournaments and whatnot is because our quarterback is awful. Here is Jack during his Junior year.

Multiple publications have selected the Iron Bowl over the Michigan/Ohio State rivalry year in and year out. The difference is that the Iron Bowl is a national draw -- everyone cares about it. Forcier has enrolled early and has gotten raving reviews by everybody from coaches to scouts to players. Robinson will not start by virtue of him being way behind Forcier in learning the playbook, and Forcier will have to play pretty poor for Robinson to see starters PT. Forcier is a much better passer, BTW. Just look at their HS stats.

RichRod is still molding the team to fit his style, and the transformation is not yet complete. I think we'll go 9-4 in 2009. 13-0 will have to wait until probably 2011. JMO

Robinson was obviously motivated by the chance to start at QB for Michigan, but its not like he came to Michigan strictly to play QB. He was recruited as an athlete, which means he can play multiple positions. Once Forcier locks down the QB position, Robinson will get moved to slot receiver or cornerback and will push for PT. Given his amazing speed and superb athleticism, I'm sure Robinson will be a starter (and a star one) day at either slot receiver or CB.
At the Detroit Michigan camp recently with all the top players from Michigan, he was flat out not only the best QB at camp, but when he lined up at WR he was the best WR also, making plays on everybody, and no one could stop him. Making 1 handed catches, going up over the DB to make catches. This is the # 1 player in the state of Michigan.
I'm a michigan fan, but I'd have to say the iron bowl is the most passionate rivalry in sports simply because there is nothing else to do in alabama besides football.

I was talking about overall team competitiveness. You might have one great player, but if you played a D1 school you would get smoked. Your line wouldn't be big enough, your QB wouldn't be good enough and your D wouldn't be fast enough.
Its just the down side of going to a small school, you don't have as big of "pool" to choose from.

Our offensive line has 98% block rating, and we do play d1 teams. We usally stay with them if not we beat them. Yearly we play Trotwood Madison, which is one of the top recruiting highschools in ohio. Our team averages a 4.6 fourty. We could keep up easily with most teams. But the reason we dont go to state tournaments and whatnot is because our quarterback is awful. Here is Jack during his Junior year.

Poor decision making had nothing to do with tOSU's losses in recent bowl games. They lost to the best team in the country in both NC games -- there's absolutely no shame in that.
Tressel is clearly one of the most coveted coaches in the country -- he took tOSU to back-to-back NC games, which is particularly amazing since the 2nd game was during a rebuilding year with 3-star redshirt/grayshirt Boeckman at QB. That's very impressive.

Yea, while osu fucked around with montana and miller, which they lost that recruiting battle, they coulda had Gardner in the bag if they woulda offered, but he said fuck it, so now he's with us, fuckin losers. And thats why he was ranked by the national analyst Barry Every the number one quarterback at the elite 11 camp. And they said he's a better passer than tebow, PRYOR, young, and dennis dixon at this stage then they were. Garbage, my ass!

I know reading isn't really your state's strong suit, but Every said Gardner compares favorably with those players, which is quite a bit different from "is a better passer than." This is also the opinion of ONE analyst. At least three other analysts for both major recruiting services said Gardner had the worst mechanics there as well as poor accuracy, and BOLDEN, the guy your school passed on, was easily the better QB.
tOSU didn't offer Gardner because they didn't want him. Period.

Gardner is nowhere near the player Pryor is. Pryor was the wire-to-wire number one player in the 2008 class. Gardner isn't even in the top 200 players in the country. Again, it's amazing that you don't see how stupid you are.

Pryor completed 65% of his passes last year and had a passer efficiency rating of over 150, which is far better than what a pocket passer like Henne did his freshman year (60% CP, 132 passer rating).

No, it is NOT what all of the experts are saying. It's what ONE recruiting analyst is saying, and the rest are saying he's a garbage QB, but a good athlete. I'd say put him at WR, but DickRod has already recruited 6 WRs this year alone.
As for being delusional, it's a lot easier for a fan of a team that just had the most losses they've ever had in a single season.

Rich Rod knows what he is doing, he is building a fast and athletic offense, there should be some great games between Ohio State and Michigan in the future. In a very short time, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State will make the Big Ten strong again.

Well I agree with you, but leave the STATE PENN out of that, they only have a good team once every 4 years. They're overrated this year. They lost their entire secondary, their playmakers on the d-line, lost all their WR's, and their big time o-lineman. All they got is that one LB, Clark, and Royster. They lose 3-4 games this year. With all due respect, your a Gators fan, so you really don't know much about the Wolverines football team. Forcier has enrolled early and has gotten raving reviews by everybody from coaches to scouts to players. Robinson will not start by virtue of him being way behind Forcier in learning the playbook, and Forcier will have to play pretty poor for Robinson to see starters PT. Forcier is a much better passer, BTW. Just look at their HS stats.

ROFL. I do think we'll beat OSWHO this season, but it'll be close. We'll be blowing the suckeyes out on an annual basis one day, but not in 2009. RichRod is still molding the team to fit his style, and the transformation is not yet complete. I think we'll go 9-4 in 2009. 13-0 will have to wait until probably 2011. JMO

Robinson was obviously motivated by the chance to start at QB for Michigan, but its not like he came to Michigan strictly to play QB. He was recruited as an athlete, which means he can play multiple positions. Once Forcier locks down the QB position, Robinson will get moved to slot receiver or cornerback and will push for PT. Given his amazing speed and superb athleticism, I'm sure Robinson will be a starter (and a star one) day at either slot receiver or CB.

At the Detroit Michigan camp recently with all the top players from Michigan, he was flat out not only the best QB at camp, but when he lined up at WR he was the best WR also, making plays on everybody, and no one could stop him. Making 1 handed catches, going up over the DB to make catches. This is the # 1 player in the state of Michigan.
