this is my first week on you tube learning photoshop. Cant believe I strugled on my own for so long and all this was right in front of me. Thanks guys Gene

  • awesome thanks

  • great video :D thank you

  • I've always wondered how to do this practically.

  • a really good tut, lots of detail where people simply couldnt get lost on the mac or windows, 5 star!

  • oh sweet

  • Not bad, but i'm still waiting for you to teach me something new, I've been using photoshop for 7 yrs (since i was 11) and I almost mastered it, but im sure theres some things I might have missed. So I challenge you to surprise me :P

  • it was out for that long?

  • I started at Version 5

  • 7 years is not long enough to master photoshop. there is a million ways to skin a cat, and a million ways to photoshop an imagine. even the creaters of photoshop wont have mastered it, you would need to work like a buddhist monk your phone line on photoshop to become truely photoshop inlightened.

  • It's fairly simple to differentiate mastering from exploitation. By mastering I mean learning all the options, tools and aspects of photoshop, knowing theoretically what they do. After that, whatever you do with them is exploiting the program. Some do in a simple way to complete tasks. And others use their creativity to break through another use of the program. the possibilities are endless.

  • Nice! :D I use a a video editing program when i wanna add in this type of effect and just save it as a screenshot, at its best quality, but your method is much more simple and it stays within photoshop :] another good one howard :D

  • Nice one :)

  • cool effect Howard

  • WOW AWESOME!!! Nice Tutorial!

    It looks beautiful!
