  • Your voice is hellish..i'd love to wring your neck

  • Reading it too fast Gaz! Getting out of breath listening ;)

  • lets face it, in this modern day and age cyclist shouldnt be allowed on roads as they get in the way of cars and dont pay road tax.

  • @kentcyclist I'm not sure weather to find that amusing or to be slightly worried. Your username suggests you are a cyclist yet you display little understanding of how the 'taxing' system on motorised vehicles work.

Do cyclists get in the way of cars? Or do other cars get in the way of cars? Just imagine all the cyclists in london changing to cars instead of bikes, would there be more or less traffic jams?

  • @CycleGaz

No Cyclists should definately NOT be allowed cars. The fact that they have a bike must surely mean they are rather sad & incompetant. I bet most of them are dole scroungers. Im a very important person you know. I watch Dave and Jeremy Clarkson every night and my house is worth a million pounds.

  • @kentcyclist 'No cyclists should definitely NOT be allowed cars.' that does not make sense.

  • @CycleGaz Kentcyclist is a boring troll, I banned him.

  • @kentcyclist Why are you banging on about road tax? We have told you there is no such as road tax since 1938. All taxpayers pay for the road. You're making yourself looking silly.

  • @t1sutton Im just having a laugh at your expense haha. U R 2 gullible.

  • number 3 was probably the worst out of the lot! congrats to the reactions to the driver to avoid him. Love the series, Its amazing to see how many people don't understand the rules of the road.

  • Been watching your vids for a few days now and I love the way you use these to back up and justify how some cyclists give the rest of us a bad name. Peace.

  • This episode seems to be the final one made, any more in production? The series is fantastic! I've picked up alot of tips from it. :)

  • @everythinglive There is another one being put together at the moment. A long delay because i broke my clavicle and have been unable to use a computer for a long period of time.

  • @sillycyclists riding your bike? I hope you're ok!

  • Love the new intro don't go up there, don't go up there, thats very stupid educating cyclists one mistake at a time. Great work btw. I'm a big fan.

  • I did'nt like it scripted, it feels too formal.

  • If your a skilled cyclist and possibly ride with a club or simply race. your'll understand when I say jumping lights doesn't save a great deal of time but is exhilarating and fun. try a bit of road rage although don't do anything to dangerous else you mite not get on the bike again....................

A few challenges to have a go at>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

how many cars can you over take............

how many red lights can you jump..........

  • Gaz could you not run shorter cranks if you're so worried about pedal strike?

  • @elstado1 I got long legs and big feet, i need to run longer cranks. I'm not going to ride fixed anymore, due to that and toe overlap, it just doesn't work for me, single speed all the way :)

  • @gaz545 well considering we're both crippled for the next couple of months we wont be riding either (i also busted my clavicle in a prang with an inattentive motorist). I really enjoy riding fixed but pedal strike is a bummer. i dont have issues with toe overlap though thankfully.

  • ha, number 1...finally you can understand the issue of how irritating it is to be cut up close by overtaking cyclists. The only way I dealt with the problem of that was by using a mirror to allow me to be more defensive

  • Terrific stuff, as usual. Humble suggestion: say up front where we are, which UK or other city. I think scripting is best, incidentally, and you should be doing this for LCC or CTC, and they should link to your site. As previous poster asked, what video kit are you using? I want to start submitting the dafties I see every day!

  • @1100HondaCB can you get off my roads, ty xxx

  • @Testedecazzo What do you mean? I am not the problem, but often cyclists are.

  • Oh look, I made it in this week afterall! ;) I had a great one a couple days ago; drove past a police officer cycling on the pavement on the wrong side of the road! Sadly, my camera battery had died mid journey and it didn't record. Boo!

  • I know you've probably been asked this loads but what camera are you using on your own videos Gaz? Loving the series by the way, as a regular cyclist and commuter and I've seen loads of incidents in the past.

  • @JasonMunro13 I use contourhd cameras

  • @gaz545 Heard about your accident Gaz, hope you get better soon mate

  • Hey cyclists there's a bunch of perfectly good sidewalk there for ya.

  • @RidX4Ricers thanks for the tip! i tried the sidewalk, wow! best.walk.ever

  • Hey Gaz, I think that for a lot of cyclists its quite hard to start off from not riding on the road at all to getting comfortable with multiple lane roundabouts etc. Is there any chance you could do a beginners guide to cycling? E.g. where is best to stop on ASLs, when not to use cycle lanes and avoiding the all important door zone.

Just a thought, and I'm sure you could teach me a thing or two.

  • Why bother doing this?

  • @rccaulfield It highlights mistakes that cyclists make, as vulnerable road users we need to look out for our selves and keep safe. Some cyclists don't do this and nearly get killed.

  • These shows are getting better and better. Keep it up!

  • Red light runners, one of them almost ended up under my car today when he crossed the road right in front of me when he ran a red light. Good thing I'm prepared for cars doing the same in advance.

  • I nearly shat myself when I saw Wellington, New Zealand!!

    Haha awesome!!!

  • I particularly liked the videos from rogerhotuk. can we see more from him? :-)

  • @rogerhotuk Oh yes, just tell him to get out on the bicycle more and film some silly cyclists!

  • Like the intro, but the scripting makes it dull. As ever, some very silly cycling, and you can tell it's taking off amongst youtubers as there are hardly any of your own submissions in there! Good stuff.

  • @marbleblue Looks like it's a clear thumbs down to the scripting, thanks for the feedback. I had nearly 30 clips this week to get into 10. getting harder and harder :O

  • @gaz545 You'll just have to make more episodes then :P

  • @DamoDoublemint Indeed, i will be looking at doing one every week now. Starting in 2 weeks time :P

  • @gaz545 That's what she said! Sorry lol. New intro is great by the way, made me laugh.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Just out interest, was this the first one that was scripted?

  • @vousden Yes, i've already had feedback that it is not as good. So scripted out, but looks like the intro is a hit.

  • @sillycyclists Yeah, I agree, I found your previous episodes much more enjoyable, this one felt a little formal and instructional, but the intro is good.

  • @sillycyclists I prefer it scripted. You edit the video, so why not the words? Apologies if this is already answered but what video kit do you use? I want to submit the dafties I see every day. One humble suggestion: let us know what city we are in before the clip starts.

  • 187Premises ^^

  • Woah, intense new intro..!

  • yaaaayy Norwich :)

  • As usual, all pretty bad, but #3 and #2 were truly abysmal.

  • No.2 - A schoolboy error on the part of the knuckle-dragger on the bike....why can't he just ride like a big boy on the road?

Great collection again, you know their rather bad when you get a twitchy bum watching them :-P

  • I hope you stop commuting on your fixie, or at least get cage pedals rather than clips.

  • @Genoxide85 What is the problem with commuting fixed? Gaz is a rather experienced rider and fwiw I I was riding fixed I'd prefer clipless to toe-clips as it allows for much easier entry and exit from the pedals as opposed to toe-clips/cages which will always hang upside down if you need to remove a foot and require more effort to get back into.

  • @SkrzypczykBass I could never get the hang of toe-clips. I've never had a clipless moment, but have fallen off when I couldn't get out of clips.

  • @Genoxide85 I don't get that. Nothing wrong with fixed, and nothing wrong with fixed and clipless pedals together.

  • Thanks for another great episode Gaz.

  • Good cyclist using Kryptonite Fahgettaboudit and Portland RadBot light? I have the same setup. Good videos Gaz! Hugs from Brazil

  • A lot of silly people out there.

  • i rode to work yesterday 'just like Gaz' thinking carefully about positioning and respecting the door zone and other drivers more so than i normally do.. Received 2 waves of thanks from drivers for good indication so result! love your vids!

  • What the hell was #7 doing?

  • New intro is GREAT!

  • Nice one Gaz!

  • Thank you.

The video from damodoublemint is crazy.

  • Like the new jingle...
