Damn! Vicious didn't even get one vote? Who were those judges? Tough decision, and a tough break. El Nino is a really talented B Boy, but I think some people just win based on fame. It's kind of like, "Well I think that he has the ability to rock the crowd and well...he's won before, so let's give it to him." Sometimes the judges have to let some of the up and coming guys that have worked so hard to make it advance to the next level. I'm an El Nino fan too, just saying.

@tremerin1 With all due respect, El Nino, Taisuke, Lagaet and Flying Buddha aren't strictly powerheads. As a matter of fact, even Lil G has style. Also, power, hate it or love it, is going to always be an integral part of our dance. Vic might have lost because he repeated some moves in the battle and didn't have as much endurance or variation. I will agree about his attitude being more enjoyable. El Nino does seem to be more calculating and calm, but we can't judge demeanor marginally.

@tremerin1 I watched all of them. I agree with you; It's very boring to watch repeated moves all the time, but I think that power is a trend that will eventually die out. Or at least, it will die out as being some kind of wow factor. Power is something that should be used as an exploration of how far you can take the craft, rather than filler for lack of originality. Plus, power has a lot of variations that ONLY the bboys you listed can do, thus: they have originality.

Personally not trying to say anything but. Vicious should have won. Vicious has more character when breaking even if he's battled countless rounds, while El Nino looked like he was HELLA tired. You dont want that representin' the US in Russia. And Vicious had a wider variety of moves. This year for sure im going to be rooting for another country. Because honestly, dont think Nino will hold it down as hard as the other bboys would.
