  • From 1:05 to 1:20 he goes hella in. I love it. #swag

  • I bought teh second DVD and I think they played a lot, but I couldn't understand cause they didin't show the tricks slowly and didactily. Everything happens so fast and almost without an explanation. It seems a big party with everybody happy and I just watched and been admirated with them. Just it.

  • @trancosomarcus This is not a beginner DVD. We make different DVDs for different skill level and this DVD is for intermediate players. For an intermediate keyboard player this is just the right level.

  • @trancosomarcus Volume 1 is for beginner to intermediate and volume 2 is for intermediate. On our website we have a category called, by skill level and the Soloing Techniques DVDs are in the intermediate skill level range.

  • I want to improvise well. What should I do first? I have basic knowledge. Start to learn all major and minor scales?

  • What's the name of the drummer?

  • 9 people dont know the blues scale...

  • Guys, received Vol 1 and 2 of Soloing few days ago. The production quality is the best I've come across the past 2 decades of buying instructional videos, CDs and DVD's. And the information is solid. Just three days of studying the first four lessons and my blues-rock playing is already up a notch. I'll be busy this summer with these DVD's. Next for me- the Tritone dvd. Fantastic job guys!

  • jamal ! from your opinion, is it challenging to play fast shouting music on weighted keys? like your motifes8.

  • Love your mellow sound. All on the same page musically. Love it when it all comes together like this.

  • Man i know some of these chords you've learnt them but the others did you create them yourself and who is your inspiration?

  • Unless you plan on slowing down those fast runs, this isn't very helpful. I hear pianists in jazz play all these beautiful runs insanely fast and I can't follow what they're doing. It'd be extremely helpful if someone would break down something like an Art Tatum run or something. Or just the common runs people use.

  • @HuggumsMcgehee This is a demo clip of an instructional DVD we sell. If you click on the link in the description, then you can purchase the DVD.

  • @HuggumsMcgehee He states "just play with the C minor blues scale" Consider the run broken down. lol

  • @MusicisMYlife210 I can tell that already, but that doesn't tell me what motifs he's using or why.

  • im guessing i need about 15 years of piano lessons and need to memorise all scales ?

  • @leighbeynon2002 I've seen guys be ready play all the scales in 2-3 years. It all depends on your desire and persistence to practice!!!

  • so you would recommend practising and memorising all scales ? in all keys ?

    maj and min ?

  • @leighbeynon2002 nope it doesnt take that long at all

you can start playing theses riffs within about a year or 2 maybe with a good teacher and practice--i mean real practoce with patience--

  • @leighbeynon2002 Not nearly that long. Once you know how a major, minor, and harmonic minor scale are constructed memorizing them all is a matter of playing. Further practice and you can play them all.

  • I like her pocket

  • Hey Jamal I want to buy a keyboard that will satisfy me for a good while which would u prescribe, Korg triton Studio 76, or Yamaha Motif Es7....i want some nice pianos but nice synths also....P.S good playing BEASTTT!!!! as usual lol

  • who is this dude?

  • man ur music is amazing

  • Thanks :)

  • dude that was hot!!! u should help us out

with the scales... and the jazzy style =]

  • I MEAN JAMAL HOT.

  • From 0:59 to 1:03 was hot. Dude hot.

  • it must be the good church food

u can call it a godly groove!

  • Jamal i have been playing traditional black church music for awhile and im getting bored with the limits.i would like to know how hard is the trans from traditional style to a Neo-soul style?

  • That's what I do. Alllll of these DVDs you see are instructional DVDs with a focus on transitioning from Traditional Style to Urban, hence Urban and Contemporary Worship. My whole movement/ministry started by teaching traditional gospel musicians how to transition to a more urban sound. Go to URL's in the description and get the DVDs...They'll help!

  • is it abailable in argentina?

  • Si...esta disponible para tu pais. Tu puedes comprar el DVD o un Download a tu computadora.

  • muchas gracias!

cuando ahorre unos pesos lo compro

    U ARE A GENIOUS!

  • Hey Jamal,

I bought U & C Worship Xtreme and was very pleased with quality and the level of instr. 1) As far as building up a repertoire is concerned, can I just concentrate on learning slow tempo worship or ballads?

2.)Is this current video available either in DVD or MP3 format?

Lastly, if you have ever traveled with Rod Parsley , I may have seen you when Rod came to my church during the 90s. I was @ Faith Landmarks Min. in Richmond, VA then

  • If you liked the Xtreme, then this is an extension on to the Uran Worship Xtreme, except it focuses more on licks and runs. It's available in DVD format. Visit the website in the title.

I have never been to Rod's church, but my fiancee sang for him in the mid 90's for 4-years.

  • ummm Jamal we can only get your dvd only from your website

  • Yes, you can only get the DVD's from our website.

  • gee thanks Jamal that helps

  • is it available in argentina?

if not, i would spend a summer or 2 in the usa just to learn this stuff

  • are you the young man that came out of the audience to play for Mark Charona. Is your name Jamal?

  • Yes, that's me :)

  • Nice and smoooooth !!! :-)
