  • Thumbs up if Contraband got u here!!!

  • I do believe there's a version of this song where John Lee Hooker sings and plays guitar along with these guys backing him up. I think I've heard it on my local rock station.

  • was a great show and this was so much fun from the start to the finish Dance my brains freakin all the way out!!!!

  • I am generally not a fan of covers, especially when the original is so good, but DAMN! This guys knock it out of the park. I would have loved to see them do it alongside JLH himself.

  • Even Stevie Ray Vaughans version wasn't this good...

  • i love todd and the monsters

  • i've heard a version of this, but had samplings of John Lee singing, I think it was from a movie sound track, VERY COOL

  • @circuitman240 Blues Brothers...

  • ive been lookin for this for sooo long

  • love these guys♥!! Saw them at the Fox Theatre in ATL front row .. OMG unforgettable night. Rock n Roll at its best !

  • ZZ Top ripped this off for La Grange. Boogie Chillin was an old John Lee Hooker classic. Billy Gibbons admits to being inspired by it when he wrote La Grange. He went so far as to admit stealing it.

  • Damn. Who knew Big Head Todd could be so cool?

  • on June 7th was my birthday

  • did he say i heard my momma choke on it at 17

  • great song love the solo

  • Not pure blues but very very good

  • is there any remix' to this song by a heavier band...i swear i heard one in a movie

  • this is in water boy, but i dont know if its different

  • i think it was in an action movie. Im not sure though, i just remember hearing it heavier. Good song never the less!

  • It was also in The Blues Brothers, done by the man himself, John Lee Hooker.

  • You probably heard ZZ Top's La Grange, which is similar in some ways. Not much "boom, boom, boom" so much as similar guitar sound. Sort of like Bowie and Queen's Under Pressure and Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby with a wider separation.

  • this is in waterboy and also the longest yard(2005) both movies featuring adam sandler

  • it was also in the longest yard to

  • Clutch made a song that sounds similar to this

  • longest yard and its this one i guess

  • This song was written before ZZ Top needed to shave

  • @bloodyfinger5 did ZZ do this song too?

  • is it just me or the intro doeas sound like la grange by zz top

  • These guys got their song stolen, go listen to "Electric Worry" by Clutch.

  • I remember seeing these guys in the early days in Boulder at was once called the Dark Horse. Drinking with a bunch of friends I heard this blues/rock music and had to see who this group was. Simple amazing. And still rocking after all these years.

  • JLH forever. immortal.

  • Red Rocks i the album?

  • the original video does not exist...the original artist for this song passed gracefully in 2001 time frame...his name was john lee hooker....one of the last few southern delta blues men..you can find his 1981 concert online....one of his last public performances.....live on john lee hooker...

  • his version was also in the first blues brothers (where he's featured playing it)

  • Can samebody tell my were i can find the orgigenal video ? with gound sounds?

plz tell my samebody? if you got u subscribe if you tell my !!

  • @qpbullet John Lee Hooker: Boom boom

  • J.L. Hooker is a god, however, these cats messed with an incredible piece of music, and burnt it up! Well done lads!

  • fucking agree :)

  • @PapaDocN3D once in awhile, you'll find a remake of a song or movie that is actually better than the original.

  • This tune = FUCK'N AWESOME!

B H T with Johnny Lee Hooker version is even bettter.

  • Was this song onthe movie The Longest Yard?

  • no Waterboy

  • maybe both

  • Trumpet player is my high school band director :P

  • lol small world

  • I have seen BHTaTM 5 or 6 times. Always a meet and greet afterwards, and they sign autographs like crazy.

If you ever get a chance to see them at a show, stop by and say "Hi" to them. They love talking with their fans.

I got a set list last time I saw them from Jeremy, the keyboardist, and they all signed it. Pretty cool.

  • Finally a clear video of a great cover of a great song, by a great band! Just wish the cameras would show more of Todd playing and less back views and much less nose bleed seat views. That said I still got to give it 5 stars!

  • love this song!!!!!!!

  • this song rocks!!!!!!!

  • wow

  • hammer lied alter

  • I was there! Can't hardly wait for the DVD to come out! They are such a good time rockin band.
