@MrAlxndros They're available in Black in spanish? Lol lucky.
You can, but you'd have to acquire some blue switches and desolder the black switches then solder on the blue switches onto the PCB. It's tedious and complicated (somewhat).
Same switches from Cherry? Well the M10 generally uses the Cherry MX Blues switches while Cherry uses their proprietary switches, the Cherry MX and others, and membrane switches.
@kjrehberg Do you mean the ASK-6600u? I believe it uses "fake" white ALPS switches. The big attraction to the M10 is its Cherry-blue key switches. You simply can't match the tactile feel and clicky sound of these key switches.
@pam0077 Yes, but I have to say that the ASK-6600 "fake" white clicky ALPS switches compare very favorably with Cherry MX Blue switches. They're also substantially cheaper. For my money, the Solidtek is a much better value than the Scorpius and is put together so much better. I also tried, and had to RMA, the horribly expensive but under-engineered Adesso which also uses Cherry Blues. I'm currently awaiting the release of the Rosewill mechanical keyboard which will use Cherry MX Blues.
Up to 6 simultaneous keys is not n-key rollover. Most $10 keyboards can do 6 keys, which is the USB limitation. This keyboard is not, not NKRO. It doesn't even say it has n-key rollover on the box. Why would you just make that up?
Are you sure this keyboard is N-key rollover feature and laser engraved key caps?
I have this keyboard, but mine dose not have n-key rollover and the key caps are just a simple silkscreen prints.
Opening up the keyboard, soldering job was very poor, and there were some cold solder and overheated patterns. (I had to solder one of the key back myself get it working)
Also, I believe N-key rollover is trademark of Filco. Is it not?
cherry mx switches are al gold-plated, iOne doesn't pointless advertise a marketing wow word with gold plated, and have much better build quality, the das keyboard also ahs tons of key transposition errors.
The design of this keyboard is great. It is built using top-quality Cherry mechanical keyswitches.
However, it suffers from a fatal manufacturing flaw, which causes various keys to fail after a few months.
The specific problem is something to do with the solder. After a while, the keyswitches become detached from the circuit board because the solder joints fail.
The keys stop working after a few months. Don't buy one.
This keyboard most definitely does NOT support 6 simultaneous keypresses. I used a keyboard ghosting app to test it for myself. As an example, pressing QWAS only registers QW.
This looks like a really nice keyboard. I have a new old stock Focus keyboard with mech. keyswitches and love it. Only thing I don't like about it AND the Scorpius are that they include the retarded Windows keys...which are horrible for gaming. Whoever came up with Windows keys should be tied up and tickled till they beg for sweet mercy.
I bought on on 3/10. Less than a month later, the period key stopped working, or began to work erratically. I had to hit the period key 27 times to get that last period to appear. Or use the numerical keypad period key.
You're mis-informed and council you to do a little research before you call anything a "horrible lie". The N-rollover does indeed mean unlimited keystrokes registering in buffer - but ONLY when connected via PS/2. The keyboard was connected via USB for the demonstration. The bandwidth on a USB connection is limited to 6. He got it right..

Is this keyboard Mac compatible? Some websites list the system requirements as "Windows 98/2000/ME/XP/Vista" but I have never come across a wired keyboard that could not be used with OS X.
Where could I obtain 4 of those individual key switches, but not purchasing the entire keyboard?

Not using your own product? That's a regular Dell keyboard on your desk. ;)

wow only $60, thats not bad. i've never used a mechanical keyboard so I don't really care, but if I did I'd probably buy it

For NKRO to work, you must connect the keyboard via PS2 connector, this applies to ALL NKRO keyboards!
CrazyMonkeyCM32 1 year ago
My keyboard has a 8-key rollover.
chaklong 1 year ago
i thought NKRO meant that you can press every single key at the same time?
Amiskone 1 year ago
@Amiskone It means you can press any number of keys at the same time and they all register.

You would be better off getting a DSI Solidtek SK-6600 instead.
Unfortunately the Scorpius M10 falls apart within six months. Do not buy!!
