umamia is the word written in the original poem by Abdullah Abdulwehab Noman. it was changed to sarmadia after the reunification of Yemen to avoid its "communist" implications. but now, the government has decided that there is no longer such a justification for the change and thus restored the original word. to this end, the President passed a law :(قرار رقم (180) لسنة 2006م )
