  • Saw them singing this and others on Larry Gogans radio show.They had just come back from the U.K. and they had to raffle the tickets!Remember Johnny saying" Níl aon tinteán mar do thinteán féin!

  • I have all their singles and did post them a few years ago , this one I liked most. I would come in from school at lunch and the Prescott/Imco show might play their latest single .

  • Yeah a blast from my past. Played all the dublin clubs in the 60s, The five club television club, club a go go etc. Great and thanks for the memories

  • TG for uploading these songs. I went to school with Ger Costelloe(Jack's brother, Gerard, a fine musician in his own right) and we loved the Granny's.  Ger Ryan "up the 'Boro"!!

  • @rkeane091 Very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I had been trying to trace him last time I was in Limerick playing sessions and researching for my book again. I'd be very pleased if I could chat to your mom next time I'm over: probably in February. Could you pleas eforward my message. She knows me as Johnny from Birmingham.   • Had all their records but they got nicked along with a lot of other good stuff from the 60s

  • seen them in Athy, Kildare in 1968, thought they were brilliant, They played support to one of the showbands ( couldn't stand the showbands) Pity they didn't last long, cos they had the potential to go far.
