This has to be one of my all time favirot guitar solo's...I mean I like Van Halen's explosive sounds too like Eruption but this solo...is simple but it just wails with emotion....tight
@strange78x Totally right. I have an explanation for the one string wonder bit lol I'm a rhythm man and I'm not used to soloing so I play how it's easier (at least, for me). So... there you go :) Regarding the wha, I have one but I still haven't been able to master it :) Thanks for the reply, be cool, rock on
@miguelmf well it's odd .. but the dege is kinda a one string guy sometimes too , and from what i've seen i think he plays this almost completely on the second string
It's like this: I bought a multieffects pedalboard from Digitech (RP350) because I wanted some effects (Whammy and Wha, for example) and it was way cheaper than the Whammy pedal. The RP350 is great for effects but you can't pile up more than one on each bank. Since the Reverb and Delay effects are the most commom ones in band songs, I bought the Digital Reverb (DR100) and the Digital Delay (DD400) both from Behringer and they sound very cool (plus, each one was 45€ retail ;) So my advice
@marcusrockstar My advice is (a month latter LOL): build your own pedal board, stompbox by stompbox. Of course, some multieffects are good money value (the RP350 is one of them) due to the price of the Whammy pedal stand alone but it's best to buy individual effects. cheers and sorry for the delay. Looks like you tried playing the whole solo on a single string, lol.
A little odd for me, but cool, nice try...
Need to match the delay timing and throw in some envelope filter or wah. Right now, sounds a bit like a metal parody version, lol.
Also, try using more than one string. lol
