The most beautiful and saddest song I have ever heard! I dedicated this to my granddaughter who just died Monday she was so far away. she just walked away form me. And i was so close to losing her, I just watched her slip away. I lost her after she suffered along painful illness at only 34. Now she has no more pain and she is in a better place.

They are the most underrated band today. I've seen them more than 5 times and haven't missed an L.A. show. The first time I saw them CYHSY opened for them, I wanted to leave after their set, but was so glad I stayed for The National set--like you, they left me speechless.
