Guys like lil wayne make music for different reasons and different people. Songs like his and other similar music, is ideal for a club setting. @sephiroth2099 you kind of have to group their styles more for this one, remix was a part of their nu-metal/heavier part in the beginning and now they're kind of main-streamy if that makes sense, they would have been one of the best around if they continued their work with albums like meteors and reanimation though.

@sorrowedeyes They should let mike be their producer. I've never done a lot of lp research but they use to be my favorite band and I'm pretty sure mike had a lot to do with that. Then they got rick ruben on minutes to midnight. Never been the same. Yea i can respect and like their new music...Just not as much. Not askin em to remain the same forever, but you can stay in the same genre (or genres for lp) and keep it interesting.

@MisterHotShotX The whole album, while still the same songs at the core took a dramatic turn and came a good amount of time later so in the original he crumples up the paper in the remix he looks back at it and hopes it can turn back, so either the paper is a metaphor or something to do with the music maybe? If Linkin Park wanted to go in the Electronica direction like what they are doing with their new music...why couldn't they make another album like this? I loved Reanimation, it was still Metal, it was heavy and dark, but it had a very big Electronica and Hip-Hop influence and I was fine with it. Now they are way to soft and lost their touch. Reanimation > ATS.
