Na, totally disagree. See, people 'act' like GNR went straight from Appetite to Chinese Democracy, but in truth by the time they split in 1996 they were bloated, irrelevant, and mocked in the same music press each week that now only remembers the great times... The original lineup split up because they were simply done. The fact Axl even came back is a shock to me. His voice now (compared to the awful 2000-2004) is getting back to it's best too.

don't judge axl.. look what has he created.. some of the most powerful songs on earth. original recorded songs will stay forever and they are amazing. maybe axl does not have a voice like in early days anymore but he will stay a legend forever. Axl recorded 48 songs..YES 48 fot chinese democracy, he included 14 on the disc....the rest are recorded and waiting, he is an extraordinary musician and one of the greatest singers in history of rock. Bu the way...for example..Fall to Pieces (velvet revolver) is a guns and roses song that was supposed to be included on the USE YOUR ILLUSION 2, and was replaced by "My world". Would be great to have slash and axl again together

i'm from the generation of the old guns n roses. and i loved them back then. there never will be the old guns n roses, crazy, wild, on drugs, destroying hotels and all that rock n roll stuff. but, time changes and i grant axl all the fun he has with his new cover band. and if people like it - even better. but to me guns n roses is dead. but that's how i feel and i bet you people can live with that ; ) i still enjoy seeing axl on stage!
