I say we are all human and if it reaches you like other music does me, hey i fully know what you mean. the song Honey by bobby goldsborough does that to me too as its a made up song about the memories he has of his wife 'honey', till one day he came home and she passed away, and says he wakes up nights and calls her name, "now my lifes an empty stage where honey lived and honey played and love grew up". gets to me every time

This movie wouldn't be half as good as it is without the soundtrack . . . well, okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but the composition absolutely puts the icing on the cake. It captures every sentiment of the movie to a tee and it's one of those things that reaches out to you and pulls you in by the guts. It's so melancholy, but at the same time so wonderfully depressing. This is one of those rare films in American cinema that will remain imbedded in our collective memories for generations.
