It's called a "mulligan". If you don't like your hand, you have a chance to reshuffle and re-draw, but you do so, you draw 1 card less. You may repeat this as much as you like.

@Ballinlolz You get on your countries' team by playing in top 3 at that nationals. The winner of said nationals leads the team, and 4th place is an alternate in case one of the others can't make it.

You response to the lightning bolt by fetching. You get the land into play, and the Landfall ability goes to the stack. Lightning Bolt Resolves first, then Landfall would activate, but since the creature dies by the Bolt, ther Landfall is wasted.

He's got two Steppe Lynx in his hands, so he won't waste his Fetch he's got on the field.

because andre bolted the geopede with the geopede's ability on the stack, meaning he bolted it before it could become a 3/3, and if he cracked it in response it would have been a 3/3 and the bolt would have still killed it.

in response to the fetch being played he lightning bolted the geoped while it was still a 1/1. if he popped the fetch the second landfall triggers before the bolt making it a 3/3 and it still dies before the second lanfall triggers making it a 5/5 and taking it out of LB reach ^_^

probably smooth. if you are looking for the best sleeves go with dragon shields. the are the most durable and smooth to shuffle. :)

Coimbra played Lightning Bolt to the Landfall ability triggering from Arid Mesa. Even if Bram cracked the fetch, the geopede would've been a 3/3 then bolt hits before the second ability resolves.

@ Nathones: Geopede would've died anyways, whether him cracking the mesa to save it or not. Lightning bolt does 3 damage, geopede with 1 landfall trigger would be a 3/3.

the landfall trigger was on the stack and he decided to respond with the bolt. if he cracked the fetch that would resolve before the bolt and of course the original trigger

Couldn't bram have responded to lbolt on his geopede by tapping his fetch? Didn't he play his land before bolt was put on the stack?

It would not matter. If he responds by fetching his Geopede gets +2/+2 and it's a 3/3. Lbolt resolves and kills it, then the first landfall would not resolve in time.

It still would have died. He's responding to the trigger; Geopede is still a 1/1. Cracking the fetch would make it a 3/3, and still die to a bolt.
