US Price is Right watcher for the last 18 years... Watching Cliffhanger without the "definitive" yodel-guy music was very confusing. I may have developed a complex.
in the US version the climber was named Hans the yodeller and he didn't have a dog. and if he wen't over there would be a crashing sound and losing music was different and camera didn't shake.
@kiltsonfire164 Actually, only Doug Davidson referred to the mountain climber as Hans. Barker never gave him a name. And Carey usually refers to him as the "Yodely Guy". The funniest was when Dennis James called him "Fritz", not knowing that Janice's first husband's name was Fritz and had disappeared while mountain climbing. He goes "There goes Fritz" and she started bawling.
australian wheel of fortune would have still been around if they didnt fuck with the show in the late 90s, i dont think the show ever recovered after they fired burgo and revamped the program entirely
I would like to see more clips of Cliff Hangers in Australia's Price is Right as well on YouTube. I would love to see more of these videos on YouTube as well.
Agreed, but, this is still a good one. I wish they would show these shows from Australia on GSN over here. Their Wheel of Fortune looks good as well.
