In the military theres a saying:

"Hurry up and wait"

War isn't what you see on TV or the movies, its a lot of sitting around doing boring tasks just to keep your mind busy.

Unless your a combat troop that goes out on patrol, your not going to see much "action".

Even Pilots now are just making air patrols and occasional bomb drops for troops that get bogged down. But it's nothing like the first few months of the campaign.
