  • LOL! Poor Eddie can't contain his laughter @ 5:09. Hahaha!

  • 8:23 Alan Rickmans smile makes me melt!

And what he says at the end of the video is so true!

They pushed a classic into oblivion and no one can criticize what they did because it's so GREAT!!

  • Is this on a dvd anywhere?

  • Vic Reeves is a legend.

  • What's that "alcohol is what I want" sketch he's talking about at 2:00 ?

  • "We took a classic and pushed it into oblivion" but in what a way they did it ! haha hillerius

  • It is kinda odd that when he refers to the Monty Python's version of the sketch they show a piece of the performance featuring Rowan Atkinson instead of the one with Graham Chapman. Don't get me wrong, I worship Rowan Atkinson's work but it would be more accurate to show the one with Graham Chapman

  • Wow, Eddie Izzard looks hot in male outfit!

  • Oh, Eddie Izzard is HOT in man's clothes!

  • those 4 should be a new comedy supergroup!

  • Alan Rickman you were great!!!

  • seeing eddie izzard without makeup :O

    Alan and eddie are awesome!!!

  • woo sean lock!

and a stroke of genius having alan rickman there

  • It's cool to see Eddie and Alan Rickman together.

  • Eddie and Jim work really well off each other!

  • Who's Jim?

  • Vic Reeves' real name is Jim Moir. : )

  • oh-er!

  • i love where they went with it

  • I love Alan's laugh!

  • eddie izzard can't keep a straight face because of vic reeves!! hahaha!

  • Eddie is so damn hot in this!!!!!

  • Ooh, he does!

  • Went to see this...it was genius....when Eddie came on I started drooling! MMmmmm!! :D

  • vic reeves ruled that sketch

  • Wow, what a great job they did on the sketch. They're all so talented that they did it better than the original Python team could manage, because they're so talented. Another thing that's so amazing about these people is the way they don't seem to realise how talented they are. It's just so natural for them to come up with wotk of such extraordinary quality. Talent like this is so very rare.

  • am i going crazy or is that rima horton (alans girlfriend) in the background at the end?

  • Yes it must be her. It looks alot like Rima

  • I saw a still frame/close up of the woman in the background and it definitely looks like Rima.

  • Definitely Rima.

  • I love Eddie. And the Pythons. This is great.

  • Alan Rickman and Eddie Izzard...that's five kinds of sexy all rolled into ONE!!!

  • What's this from--the making of bit I mean? And in the Amnesty version, what are the " T' " bits about?

  • Yeah, I'd also love to know where you got this clip from.

    Thanks for the great clip!

  • I am not the person who recorded this, though whoever did, are no longer displaying it. -Many- years ago, I found it on a website dedicated to Alan Rickman, I downloaded to view it since Youtube and streaming didn't exist back then. Years past, the webside vanished, and this clip buried itself in a dusty old folder on my hardriver. I found it, realised there was nothing similar on Youtube and decided to share. So I am sorry, I can't help you guys. :)

  • The "'T' " is mocking how Yorkshire people often say 'the'; Or rather... it's mocking how people from outside of Yorkshire do impressions of how people from Yorkshire often say 'the'. XP

  • It's a joke about the yorkshire accent using 'T' rather than to or the. Obviously they take it to an extreme. lol

  • Man, thanks a two thousand for this one!

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • actually it was written by Tim Brooke-Taylor

  • who is tim brooke - taylor ? must goggle him !

  • No, gOOgle I think was what you meant.

  • no.. goggle

  • Ok, fine :D

  • i goggled him once, then he slapped me round face and called the police.

  • Hahahaha! Madskillz that comment made me laugh so much! Well done.

  • @whirlyfan: Tim Brooke-Taylor worked together with John Cleese+ Graham Chapman on "At Last the 1948 Show" and with John Cleese, Michael Palin on "How to Irritate People" in 1968. There maybe more connections... it is worth seeing!

  • LUXURY !

  • Why am I not surprised John Cleese originally wrote this?! Brilliant! TY for uploading!

  • where is this? it isn't on my DVD at all...
