it doesn't matter if its all pinoy or not,the bottom line is, we ,Torontonians do know how to appreciate REAL TALENT ! just like what the CBS guy said...she's a VOCAL POWERHOUSE!
After Sports, Entertainment then, what's next? have you heard about the filipino scientist? His name is Christoher Go. Philippines is small but terrible!
Pinoys by nature are shy and passive (in general) hence don't react delirously like standing O's. But they appreciate very much CHARICE. Pinos also keep their grattude to David Foster and Oprah very deep in their hearts.
LOL, they even stopped one of the escalators from operating. I wonder what was going on in the minds of the management of this mall at that time. Priceless!
CHARICE^___^ I LOVE THIS SONG so much:) we need to start it up again:) thats is you charice...keep it more moreeeee.....God bless you in everything....i hope to see u again here in toronto...or somewhere here in ontario canada...Pls KEEP my green Banner i made for you charice:) thanks and more power..also to your lovely mommy:)^___^
pansin ko lang.. do the like of justin bieber..hannah montana e gumagawa din ng mall tour? para kasing gawain lang ng noypi ang ganito.. which para sa akin is effective sa pag promote ng album :) could it be that charice is sharing her ideas when it comes to marketing/promotions? :)
i believe 90% are noypi, only noypi in pinas are hard to please they dont do standing ovations and they are not as wild as this crowd :D BUT Noypi who have been living abroad are "hybrid" adapted already to the cultures of the foreigners . Marami noypi talga sa Canada.. sunod narin siguro sa autralia :D
@tofifiness You kidding me? Pinoys/Pinays are biased or overrated when it comes to their fellow countrymen. Just look at their posts here in youtube, some of them are racism. you will always see the sentence "Proud to be Pinoy" which is personally nakakasawa sa paningin ko.
@tofifiness actually most of the people there... i'd say 95-98% were filipino ...there were people passing by who stopped to watch with a crowd that big it's hard not to wonder what's going on but most of them were filipino... i was one of the very few that wasn't... this video is proof that filipinos can get wild :P
NOYPIs are not that HARD TO PLEASE..it's just that some of our kabayayans are "shy" to show their emotions..in the filipino culture (i think the same is true in other SEA countries as well) it's not quite commendable to be wild to show appreciation over someting or someone...clapping, whistling is enough...Standing ovation is a western tradition...
@grimnight Do you honestly think Filipinos would cheer this loud? I don't think so. Remember Filipinos are hard to please. This is in Canada. There are probably some filipinos, other asians and canadians of course.
@caligurl010 yes, i honestly think most of the people there are noypi. i'm not saying that i'm hating charice, but i really think that MOST of the people who cheer her are noypi, tho there are some whites there or other asian.
@grimnight What's your point? So what if they are all pinoys (which they weren't, I was there I know). A massive crowd like that will attract attention for sure. And sure enough, it attracted the attention of TV stations, the mini-concert was on the evening news here in Toronto.
@jazfine LOL, my point is there are too MANY Pinoys, and why do you need my point? don't take it seriously and don't be offended. I just wanted Charice to be watched by other people from different races other than Pinoy, which IMO made her biased just because she's a Pinay to be proud of and personally, I hate that fact.
guys watch this very good video of charice = Charice @ Enchanted Kingdom "Sharing the LOVE @ 18" (cam 2)
