you know the repetitive themes HiT makes seem to encourage kids to make mistakes, then after the damage is done they can find someone to help them fix it, all instead of listening to the correct advice in the first place

it's like you have mixed old and new to near perfection! some HiT elements, some Awdry elements... i liked this story alot :) Do have a question tho-what is grating? is it llike scraping the rails of the ice..? i got a little confused by what it might mean.. but otherwise it's really really good :) nice work callum

Love this story, especially BoCo's appearance. I'm also going to admit that I did prepare for the worst when the Fat Controller was scolding Thomas (and it's not hard to guess what I mean by that, LOL). ;)

All in all, great episode, as usual. Very much like a HiT story, but with some, err... "Awdry-esque" elements thrown in. :)
