Ive had similar situations happen to me, Ive learned the hard way that there is nothing you can do. Once you have tried telling him about the gospel, it is his choice to either accept the words you have shared or to reject it. Just don't push it too hard or it will push your friend away more. Just do your best and live the way God wants you to live :)

I am not a pastor, im actually a teenage girl. But I'm reading a book called "Hell" It's about a man who spent 23 minuted in Hell, a place where you are abandoned forevor. No food, water, and its so dark and hot. God is not cruel. He gives you a chance to live with him. He sends no one to Hell. If someone you didnt know knocked on your door and said "I'm gonna live with you, my stuff is packed" Youd say no! God isn't being unreasonable my friends, you are. None of us DESERVE a spot in Heaven.
She fell and brought sin to her husband (not meaning the fruit was the actual sin but the act of disobedience was sin). Yes, of course, God knows the future He created everything :) but the misunderstanding is that He didn't create sin (rape, murder, lying, stealing, etc) but He allowed it to happen so that in the end our faith in Him grows while He shows His mercy and grace w/an abundance of lv and forgiveness-so that He may receive all glory and honor.
@mastela88-When God made man, He gave us free will so that we would choose (w/our hearts) to lv and worship/praise Him. But man chose the opposite, when Eve was faced with temptation (serpent) she "chose" to not run to God or fight for the truth.
I have a friend (housemate at uni) who gave his life to God before the summer, and has come back from the summer cold and empty, doubting his faith. Please pray for him!! It hurts to see my friend slowly fade away... Thanks a lot!:)
I like this song because it talks about witnessing to the lost. We all have fallen down on our job of witnessing. If we would be honest with ourselves, there has probably not a day gone by that we haven't had the chance to witness. I believe it was Billy Sunday who told the Lord that He wouldn't go to bed each night until he won at least one soul to the Lord. So we have no excuses.

@dtinsley7 Something that you need to know is that no matter what God WILL LISTEN. No matter how far down you feel you've fell or how alone you feel you are never alone. God is a lot more reliable than anyone on Earth could ever be so if you are feeling alone and when you feel far from God just remember he is right there. Some helpful verses are Psalm 139: 1-8, Proverbs 28: 13, Isaiah 55.7, Lamentations 3: 22-23, Luke 15: 11-24, and Revelation 2: 4-5.

I don't have enough faith to be an Athiest. If they are right and there is no God, then Christians have nothing to worry about. We will just be worm food. But if Christians are right, then non-believers have to answer to a Rightious God for rejecting Jesus. If I wasn't 100% SURE that God existed, I would be very nervous about dying. I just don't have enough faith to put my eternal soul on the line, as the Athiest does. Because the question remains, what if God exists? What if Hell is real?

@blinkfoxypony Many people feel as you do that their kindness, good works, and living a good life will get them into heaven. The Bible teaches that God calls that stuff filthy rags. Not because He is being mean, but because He has said that the only way to heaven is through belief in His Son Jesus. And none of the good works we do will ever be good enough. Why would a loving God force you to spend Eternity in heaven with Him when you didn't love and want to be with Him, while you were alive?

God doesn't want to punish us but it is his nature to unless we accept the perfect gift of life named Jesus. He lived a life none of us could ever lead, and then died a criminals death to pay our price. We can't do anything to overcome our own sin because we need Christ's precious blood to save us from what we all deserve. We deserve hell but God loves us too much to let us go

@joejoeeeeable No, he actually didn't, he said that there was nothing before the big bang (which science hasn't proved at all, and it has remarkable similarities to the story in Genesis.) All he did was say that based on evidence he couldn't believe in God.

The first step to witnessin it is livin it. You won't get anyone to hear the truth if they don't see Jesus mirrored in your life. If not they'll think "If this is how it changes you when you become a Christian then what's the point of becoming one". The second step is to not be ashamed of it. If your ashamed of it then you'll be too scared to witness. But the third step is most important. Trust in God and rely on him. In the moment of truth God will give you the words your friend needs to hear.

@jennielyn75 Most of all we need to realize that it isn't us who saves them but rather the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the death and resurection of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of God. It isn't anything we do that saves them. But it is a great honor to be used by God to do his will.

What am I so afraid of? this song is amazing! i was trying to help my friend last month to listen to Jesus & to convince her to trust Him again. so i began talking to her about the most trivial things because i feared that she might think me God-crazy. but then i prayed to God to rid me of this fear & to give me just the right words to help her, to show her His glory. & He did.
my friend's going to church now & has given her life to Him. i thank Jesus for saving my friend and working this small miracle in her:)

This happens to me all the time,Im bearly 13 years old and God send me to be a missionary, I love preaching to people and telling them my testimony but at the same time im scared.I dont know how to actually start the conversation about God..But i realized that i rather look bad in people's eyes than God's eyes..This is a war we are having to win souls for Christ and i tell you all 'IF WE ALL JOIN TOGETHER WITH GOD, WHOS IS GONNA STOP US?'

This song really relates to what I have been going though. I am just now finding out that the people I care about don't believe in God. No matter what I say, they ignore every word I say, or they change the subject completely. The last thing I want is for them to go to hell because either they didn't listen, or I didn't try hard enough.
@CherylHandarou You have done what you needed to. Was tell them about Chirst its up to them to choose to say yes. Continue to pray for them and to love them unconditionally. Some people are moved by actions. So becareful of your actions because you are a witness of Christ. Smile laugh love live and they will surely see Him shining through you.

@mastela88 as i've told you, He does not WANT these children to be raped but He let's it happen because there is a purpose behind, a lesson to learn inside it. And as i've said, God's thoughts is higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways... there are things that we as human cannot understand, that's why HE is God and we are not. Yes, of course, God knows the future He created everything :) but the misunderstanding is that He didn't create sin (rape, murder, lying, stealing, etc) but He allowed it to happen so that in the end our faith in Him grows while He shows His mercy and grace w/an abundance of lv and forgiveness-so that He may receive all glory and honor.

I like this song because it talks about witnessing to the lost. We all have fallen down on our job of witnessing. If we would be honest with ourselves, there has probably not a day gone by that we haven't had the chance to witness. I believe it was Billy Sunday who told the Lord that He wouldn't go to bed each night until he won at least one soul to the Lord. So we have no excuses.

@dtinsley7 Something that you need to know is that no matter what God WILL LISTEN. No matter how far down you feel you've fell or how alone you feel you are never alone. God is a lot more reliable than anyone on Earth could ever be so if you are feeling alone and when you feel far from God just remember he is right there. Some helpful verses are Psalm 139: 1-8, Proverbs 28: 13, Isaiah 55.7, Lamentations 3: 22-23, Luke 15: 11-24, and Revelation 2: 4-5.

I don't have enough faith to be an Athiest. If they are right and there is no God, then Christians have nothing to worry about. We will just be worm food. But if Christians are right, then non-believers have to answer to a Rightious God for rejecting Jesus. If I wasn't 100% SURE that God existed, I would be very nervous about dying. I just don't have enough faith to put my eternal soul on the line, as the Athiest does. Because the question remains, what if God exists? What if Hell is real?

@blinkfoxypony Many people feel as you do that their kindness, good works, and living a good life will get them into heaven. The Bible teaches that God calls that stuff filthy rags. Not because He is being mean, but because He has said that the only way to heaven is through belief in His Son Jesus. And none of the good works we do will ever be good enough. Why would a loving God force you to spend Eternity in heaven with Him when you didn't love and want to be with Him, while you were alive?

God doesn't want to punish us but it is his nature to unless we accept the perfect gift of life named Jesus. He lived a life none of us could ever lead, and then died a criminals death to pay our price. We can't do anything to overcome our own sin because we need Christ's precious blood to save us from what we all deserve. We deserve hell but God loves us too much to let us go

The first step to witnessin it is livin it. You won't get anyone to hear the truth if they don't see Jesus mirrored in your life. If not they'll think "If this is how it changes you when you become a Christian then what's the point of becoming one". The second step is to not be ashamed of it. If your ashamed of it then you'll be too scared to witness. But the third step is most important. Trust in God and rely on him. In the moment of truth God will give you the words your friend needs to hear.

this song is amazing! i was trying to help my friend last month to listen to Jesus & to convince her to trust Him again. so i began talking to her about the most trivial things because i feared that she might think me God-crazy. but then i prayed to God to rid me of this fear & to give me just the right words to help her, to show her His glory. & He did.
my friend's going to church now & has given her life to Him. i thank Jesus for saving my friend and working this small miracle in her:)

This happens to me all the time,Im bearly 13 years old and God send me to be a missionary, I love preaching to people and telling them my testimony but at the same time im scared.I dont know how to actually start the conversation about God..But i realized that i rather look bad in people's eyes than God's eyes..This is a war we are having to win souls for Christ and i tell you all 'IF WE ALL JOIN TOGETHER WITH GOD, WHOS IS GONNA STOP US?'

This song really relates to what I have been going though. I am just now finding out that the people I care about don't believe in God. No matter what I say, they ignore every word I say, or they change the subject completely. sunshinegrl... this is an experience I (a 39 yr old woman) faces much too often. I don't know why i'm scared to talk about the truth more often than i'd like ... instead I dance around and talk about the weather ... I will continue to work at it everyday... it is sad, it's true... but it happens very very often. God Bless us all and give us strength to speak the truth until the whole world hears. :)

I have been praying alot lately for a couple of things and one is to find words to tell my BEST friend he is like my brother none him since i was like 4 and he knows god but hes congused this song and prayer for a friend gave me influence :) thank you God for showing me this :)

If ure in court and ure about to supply the evidence, and you say: My witness is this book and everything it is true because its written in this book. And also my personal revelations because the author of this book has spoken to me.

@mastela88 that's were we are wrong... because it is not about religion, God is not about religion... God is way more than religion... religion is just a group of people with same beliefs... and believing in God is not about because he said and they said... i am glad that i felt His presence in my life, His power, His control... yes that is enough and my life is my evidence of God... and i just want to add, God is not about religion, He is about faith... religion is nothing but God is everything

Believing in god of any kind makes u Religious. NOT believing in god makes u an atheist.
God has NO controll over you, unless he's taken away your free will, which makes him accountable for all evil men has ever done.
Maybe Hebrews 11:1 was a bit logically flawed there? If he does controll everything, why does he choose to let children get raped?

@mastela88 if God is about religion then there should be a right religion... but sadly, there is not... and i will not argue if you think God is about religion... coz i know He is not... religious is being true to your religion but its not gonna define if your an atheist or not... that's what i believe... and why God does let children get raped?? He does not want it to happen but He lets it because without pain, without suffering we would not know that He is God...

@mastela88 He lets it happen not because He wants to... everything happens for a purpose although sometimes without understand why... that is because God's ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts higher than our thoughts... we cannot understand everything that runs through His mind... that is why we have faith... He gave us faith... for us to trust that everything will be fine even though this kind of things happen... faith is the understanding of things we don't understand...

@mastela88 and lastly, if God does not control everything... who does? the proof that God is in control is the violence and hatred and sin is not at its worse... because if people will only rely on its personal knowledge and control the world will be million times of a mess than you think it was today... that's all... i just want you to know that God is real... and it is upon you if you will open your heart and believe in Him...

@mastela88 as i've told you, He does not WANT these children to be raped but He let's it happen because there is a purpose behind, a lesson to learn inside it. And as i've said, God's thoughts is higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways... there are things that we as human cannot understand, that's why HE is God and we are not. If the world is full of comfort then we do not need God, that's is why there are pains and it's all because of our sin way way back. God bless u
