Have Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, or Maxine Waters admitted they completely screwed up by being in denial about Fannie/Freddie, and doing nothing about it when there was still time? they actually accused republicans who held hearings about this 4 years ago as trying to conduct a 'lynching' of Franklin Raines. ??? what ridiculous talk. There were real problems going on at Fannie. Why should dems blame Bush, who warned of problems, when they were in complete denial about such problems?

This is a very historically significant video.
Right now the Democrat controlled Congress, through House and Senate hearings, is trying to recreate history. Pointing the finger of guilt at anyone but themselves. Repositioning themselves as the solution but not the problem.
Chris Dodd (D-Countywide) and Barney Franks (D-Fannie/Freddie) are heading these recreation of history efforts. Pelosi named Barney to head the committee to investigate what he himself was responsible for creating.

Oh, OK. Herbert Hoover was President when the Great Depression hit, but they should have re-elected him because 1929 and 1932 are different years.
If Obama said "I loved the Soviet Union" in 2003, it's OK NOW because it's a different year? Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were headed in to crisis long before 2008.
