yes i have PLAYED with an airsoft gun , and i was making a point that they have no power at all , and the muzzle velocity is only around 400-500fps on most airsoft so i dont think at 100 yard that it could be travelling at 600fps ..and you do realise that 70 feet is nothing right ? how old are you ?

Stock, they are only around 300-400 FPS. With a simple change of a $15 spring, they could be easily 600-700. I was making MY point that they have more range than 10 meters. No power? Guys have had teeth broken out, bb stuck in skin, bbs stuck in head, and many more. No power my ass.

@LieutenantScout still, its barrel is only 5 inches longer than an m16, ans its shoots about the same speed. You can get a good m16 for less than a quarter of the price that shoots 370-380 fps from echo 1, or an m16 that shoots 420+ fps from kwa for about half the price.

Also, this weights 20+ pounds, whereas an m16 weighs ~8 pounds, fully loaded, full metal

Airsoft is 90% about looks, and 10% about being practical.

People buy this for the looks.

You could upgrade this to around 700 FPS with .25 and shoot at up to 300ft.
