Goonies I remember that one, haven't heard the audio book before, ah the 80's such awesome films in that decade, the list seems almost endless of films that have special place in my mind. Haven't seen it in years though

I remember that it was made into a movie by Spielberg and I think I rented the VC from a video library in the 90s but I can not quite remember the story

When I was about 7 years old, my Mom virtually drug to the theater by the collar to see the Goonies. For whatever reason, I really didn't want to see it, and so I fought her every step of the way.

After that, she regretted taking me, because as soon as it was on VHS, I was bugging her to rent it every time we went to the video store. It's one of my all time favorite films to this day.

Very true, Gameboyz2. Whenever I want a healthy dose of nostalgia, I can play movies like this, and enjoy the same sense of adventure as when I first saw them back in the day.

Yes, Tordur. "The Goonies" was a very popular film here in the States back in the mid 80s.

The audio here is from a 45rpm record, and the photos are scans from the book that came with it. Book, and record sets like this were also very common back then.
