There's a beat commencing midway thru Pink Floyd Echoes that cuts deep right to my core & moves me from there. This remix doesn't pick up on that aspect, or incorporate it at all....Hmmm, maybe that beat is too raw & human to fit the techno mould. I dunno. I don't think techno should have to sound like pimped out muzac--y'know, the stuff you hear in elevators or in shopping malls. Cuz that beat would blast this apart, open it up into something....well, far more intense.
