Okay morons here's how it works. Syn does more solos so he's better? Mick does heavier riffs, and is more of a team player means he's better? Syn is younger means he's better? Mick has more exp. concludes he's better? FACE IT, they are both different. They play 2 different genres that need different skills..to really determine place 'em both in each other's shoes for one show..then talk the bs!

Both are talented and charismatic... but band wise, Mick is more of a team player than Syn, although Syn does many more solos than Mick, Mick has the more legendary and awe-inspiring ones (if you don't know what I'm talking about, listen to the solo in "Psychosocial"; it will blow your mind out).
Syn is spectacular, but I my vote goes to Mighty Mick Thompson.
Personally I like Slipknot and I like Avenged Sevenfold also, I've listened to more Slipknot music then A7X (Avenged Sevenfold) so I'm more accustomed to Slipknot music than Avenged Sevenfold so I would favor Slipknot but I can't make judging too soon without listening to more of A7X. So in the end it ends up just purely opinion this is not proven "scientific" fact.

Definitely not Mick! I mean, he's pretty good, but nowhere near as good as Syn. And as far as composing goes, well, shit. Mick might as well not even enter that one.
Think of past Experience of the Guitar, Mick thomson has mastered the Guitar, by mastering the techniques of Jazz playing. So, please, if SYn manages this. Give me a Link, give me a foto, or Syn is Way bader, way unexperienced, and way more a show off. I want to see Syn Headbang through a whole consert, standing once place, playing his Music. Give that to me, and I'll judge. think people. Experience of the Guitar, shows the Master. Mick thomson.
