This video footage is not from Cardiff, it was filmed in Brighton/England by a police helicopter and turned out to be a flying chinese lantern. This video is always shown by the media to discredit the Cardiff incident (St Athens military base) Google *Cardiff UFO St Athens*.

I remember standing in Portland place and seeing them come over. I was amazed I had clearly seen a UFO- they kept moving in a strange way so we were all sure they were UFOs. This was in all of the press as a serious UFO sighting. However it was later to be found to be some kids setting flying lanterns off the beach and when I googled the lanterns to see what they looked like I can confirm that it wasn't UFOs but lanterns.

It's not a lantern. It was confirmed by all 3 air-crew and acknowledged by the Ministry of defence in England as verified.

Actually I got this from an English news site, there was a report from the crew of a police helicopter on its way to the Ministry of Defence base of St Athan, near Cardiff. The sighting was confirmed by the base. This clip was posted with the report dated june 2008 so if you have evidence that the clip is from 2006 then I apologise.

I think it's actually from 2003 and definitely from Brighton. Everyone and his dog has posted it with the Cardiff story, I think Rupert Murdoch is being a bit Foxy ;)
