I came accross this song on YouTube, don't know why, but sounded so familiar to me, actually fell in love with it. My Aunt, the lone living among my Mom's siblings heard me playing this over and over again, approached me and said ....."that's your Mom's most favorite song in the whole world....listened to it endless times when you were in her womb!" I was born in Sept 1957...Mom passed away in Feb 2007. Now, i've found a way of being with her even when she's gone.
Perfection, such a beautiful voice, wonderful Chopin melody, brings tears to my eyes. When I was younger I never understood my father's love for this recording.............I do now.
Jerry Vale also used this music from Chopin to release a song called This Day of Days, with of course different lyrics. This particular piece from Chopin has frequently been used as theme music in many documentaries. Its formal name is Étude Op. 10 No. 3, in E major
