i think it's werid how the public will never know, i always thought it was the guy who was keeping the film canisters who was the zodiac, his handwriting was a match, but they never actually tested his dna, wonder whether he is still around. or if they actually happened or if they just made it up for the film.
David Fincher is one of my favorite directors. After brilliant Seven, Alien 3, Fight Club and Panic Room I had to watch Zodiac too. It was real challenge cause the story is based on true events. The whole film was good but still not what I'd expect. The atmos[here wasn't as scary/thrilling as it was in The Silence of the Lambs, Copycat, Seven or even The Zodiac (version 2005 with Justin Chambers & Robin Tunney). Anyway Mark Ruffalo showed brilliant acting. Gyllenhaal & Downey Jr. were great too
i am a big zodiac buff and i enjoyed thie movie greatlly, though i personly do not belive Aruthur leigh Allen was the Zodiac, i belive it could have been someone else who was like Rick Marshel never cleared by Sherwood in the handwriting tests, as well a great thing that came from this case was that now no suspect in any case can be cleared of any aligatons do to handwriting. P.S I'm not Paul Avery :)
@WriterSupreme Not that I'm arguing with you, but Zodiac was based from the book written by Graysmith in which he pointed the finger at Allen. So the film isn't meant to be a completely 100% true adaptation of what happened (well, it is to a certain extent), it's meant to be from Graysmith's point of view and the conclusion that he drew. It's kind of like From Hell in a way, Alan Moore chose that person to be Jack because it's who was most likely to him.
Leigh Alllen was a piece of SHIT
