I'm impressed!, and that is not an easy thing to do. You're obviously more than a fan. The Direction, voice overs, and production are of exceptional caliber. Now that I've groped your ego, what other Star Trek projects have you done?
Thanks for the interest in my episodes. I do the voice acting myself because I can't afford the time and effort of trying to coach far-flung voice actors on delivery and timing and emotion. I am not trying to mimic the original actors, just to make them distinguishable and have them deliver their lines with the correct inflections. My Kirk isn't intended as an impression of Shatner. I believe that to do so would perhaps distract from the story. I have at least six more episodes in the works.
@crazy88boss Perhaps the people producing this might want to think about enlarging the cast, then. (I'm an amateur voice actor, and I can do a better Mr. Scott than this guy, though his Nemoy/Spock and Takkei/Sulu are quite good. I'm not asking for a job, I'm just pointing out that having more than one person to perform different roles would increase the quality of the performance. I also wish I could coach the guy a little on his Shatner/Kirk. He's ALMOST got it.)
@cpuwrite Well, to say you're better than someone on the internet is a little arrogant and pretentious, don't you think? Opinions on acting/voice acting are quite subjective so you can't be the one to say your 'better'. Besides... I already offered to do some voice overs and I never got a reply.
@crazy88boss I tried to explain that. I didn't really say that I'm better than that guy, just that no one man can really do all of those different voices well. I just used myself as a reference point because that's what I'm familiar with. There HAS to be someone out there who has more experience in a recording studio than I who can do a better Doohan/Scott. Certainly, I pointed out that his Spock and his Sulu were better than I could do. I didn't say I was out-and-out better.
@cpuwrite No offense intended, friend. I would really look forward to working on such a project. I am not sure he is doing any more episodes though we could be of *so* much use to him. Especially considering he does his own writing, editing, storyboards, backgrounds, lip synch animation, AND voice acting, even M'ress. It's really quite astonishing. I would love to offer my serivices and help him roll out some more episodes, possibly offer creative insight. If nothing else I admire his tenacity!
@crazy88boss I understand. No offense taken. Though my college degree is in computer software, I am a published author (and once held the position of Head of Training of the Federation Star Trek Role-Playing Game), Flash Animator and, as I pointed out, amateur voice actor. From this experience, I share your view that it is a shame that someone such as yourself is not allowed to make a contribution, and wish that I could help, too.
At 02:55 if you look closely at the black engineer, it resembles like president Obama in the early 70's look and ofcourse also Michael and Denise Okuda in the background
I'm loving these episodes. The animation looks great. You can hardly tell the difference between this and an official episode. Have you thought of getting some additional voices? If so I'd love to help. Keep up the good work.

Outstanding! IMHO, these are better than the originals. Love that you have kept to the old Filmation style and Trek canon!

Why would Spock know the origin of an obscure Latin phrase and not understand the literary reference when Kirk quoted Shakespear?

That was actually pretty good o.o the voices were strange though. I kinda' wish they could redo it.

@Stonehawk You might want to cut them some slack. There was only one man and one woman doing the voice acting.

This is pretty good. I thought it was the old animated series, except the voices are a little bit off.
Good stuff here.
