I think she fell after skiing over an approximately 12 inch fracture line from a small pocket of snow that was ski cut that morning by the patrollers on the competition(using a belay rope). The light was very flat, and she was unconscious with a cracked helmet when the patroller arrived.I've heard this video was around, but never saw it till today. Was there.

This video is hard to watch. She and all skiers that do extreme type skiing take a risk. If you fall on this type of terrain and snow conditions you can die. Is it worth it? It is the choice these people make. I am glad she did not die. I suppose that is stating the obvious. Broken back and a return to skiing. Amazing.

There's this one that I remember seing, but I don't remember everything about it. It was something about three young men, (I think one of the three was actually a teenager,) and they were trapped in a truck that had gotten stuck in a flash flood. All I remember about it was that it showed all three being rescued, but the rescuers had a particularly difficult time with the third one because he wound up being trapped underwater by the safety lines. Do you have that one?
