Have you ever downloaded the trial of Sony Vegas, or Adobe Premiere and tried them? I've tinkered with them very little, but would love to learn because they really are superior to WMM.
Thanks DD:) I tried out Vegas about 2 months ago and quickly got frustrated with it-I seem to have very little patience when things don't seem intuitive to me. I have a -cough-version of Adobe Premiere Elements on my computer right now that I've been telling myself for a month that I'm going to install and try really hard with it. I haven't installed it yet but I will eventually-I've gotten pretty good at WMM's foibles as far as not having too many freezes-but yes-it's pretty limiting
And yes-Diva Suzy *insisted* on making an appearance-I mean my gosh-who wouldn't "just want to be" Suzy-LOL-I can just picture you watching the ceramic cat and anticipating Suzy's appearance-hehehehe
I have a good friend who works at Adobe, and who snagged a copy of Premiere Elements for me, though I have yet to receive it. I downloaded the trial, and felt the same frustration at the lack of intuitiveness(is that a word?), but once I do have it, I am determined to figure it out!

You know, this video could have been a killer music video with some polishing on the camera moves and the "art direction". As it stands, it's still pretty cool. ^_^
Thanks Magnus-Ya-most of my stuff could stand a bit of polishing-LOL-I'm oftentimes more about the concept than I am about the execution I'm afraid-Personally I felt the camerawork was pretty good on the opening scene with the lightbulb but ya it could have been better elsewhere. The shot of the sun was pretty bad because it was blinding me
The lightbulb was awesome. If you had that throughout and then added in the bobbing mid-way in the video, it would have looked super-awesome. I'm the kind of "hurry up and make it!" kind of person too. I know all too well how it goes with the half-or-no-polish things...
I've done a couple of videos which I probably spent 12 hours editing and was thouroughly sick of them by the time I got finished. It's not like me to be sick of my own videos-LOL.
