THIS WORKS! Surprisingly no one is ever on the decline bench at my gym.I did this yesterday and the pump i got from it was unbelievable! I did my normal routine afterwards for chest but i started out with this right after warm up while muscles were fresh and actually went UP in weight for the first time with it. My lower pecs wer hurting when i finished the entire work out. I felt muscles flex in the lower chest and in the lower inside corners of the chest that i had never felt flex before. thx!
@29Soneca Dont bring it back up, you will hurt your back..Throw it on the ground...For the next exercise (dumbell flies), get off the decline bench and place dumbells at the top before sliding into it. I'd get someone to help give me the dumbells if I were you. Ask for a spot in the gym. Nothing wrong with that.
@29Soneca You will feel your chest more when you do this with dumbbells. Dumbbell press motion allows for a better squeeze on the chest as well as more control in the actual motion.
decline is a waste of time, flat fills out your lower chest enough, and you don't end up with that droopy look.

I've always did decline bench with the barbell.
With the dumbbells is better ? What is the difference ?
