Kyuss were the first live band on a big stage I ever saw back in 92 or 93 (memory is a bit hazy now), they were supporting Metallica on their Black album tour. The singer did a stagedive into the audience, and security wouldn't let him back on until enough people shouted "He's the singer, dammit!" Nick Oliveri had no shoes on, and the guys were using cords instead of infra-reds. Kickass gig.
