Seems allot different than something like empire at war. In that game you could grab a bunch of tie maulers, ATAT, ATST and simply run over your foes. This seems more mind intensive. I like it

@hector31k Change your screen resolution to 1024x768 and then go to your control center for ati or nvidia, and in display properties check the box that says fullscreen. Then go and change your screen resolution back to native and it should still stay that way for games.

If you are just a gamer who wants to play new games because they are IN then you do whatever you want.

However if you play games because of the gameplay go with SC1 or Dawn Of War.

SC2 is a fail compared to SC1.

I have a question, i plan to play this game, and i heard that exists 3 expansion for it , and i know too that Crusade and Soulstorm are stand alones ,but without using the original, some races are missing from the game, and i heard that if i install only the original dawn of war and Soulstorm, everything from the others expansions will be available, so i want to know if that is true, or if i have to install the game and all of the expansions to have everything unlocked (units,races,campaings)??

@BrandonUzumakiLee In (standalone expansion) Soulstorm: No. You don't need a full game (original) Down of War, to play Soulstorm. In fact, i just have it installed without having the base Down of War. You can choose from 9 races, yes all nine races. In Soulstorm there are 2 new races: "Dark Eldar" and "Sisters of Battle". So including those 2, there are 9 races to choose from. Whether you want to play skirmish or a campaign. You can play the single player campaign with any race you like.

By installing Soulstorm, you will have all the races+additional units to every race.

You will be able to play the single player campaign, but be aware, its a different kind of campaign.

Its a "turn-based" campaign. Its less "cinematic" to the original.

If you choose to play skirmish i counted like 110 maps.

But on the back of the cover it says: multiplayer mode with 29 new maps. So its possible that most of them comes from previous expansions. I dont have them, so cant tell

@zaldude actually starcraft was the wannabe, they copied the warhammer 40K universe and turned it over to nerds such as myself. You probably don't know this because you're not old enough. Both WH and SC is great. SC remains the more popular game but can't compete with the expanded WH40K universe when it comes to story and characters.

You have to build your base.

I just build it, then created units and then started recording. I wanted to fit in 11 min limit on YT... Therefore, i wanted to show the battle

In fact, when you see the base, it wasn't meant to be "look at my mighty base", But

I was just searching for Apothecaries, but in all that hurry i overlooked them :P :P

@OhWhatIsItNow Starcraft 2 has its good traits like extremely fun custom games which are always different along with a pretty balanced system in the beginning tournaments. But Personally I like ragdolls staying on the field giving you a feel for the grasp of this warfare, along with the enormous battles that tag with it. Now for the moment SC II doesn't really have mods made for it due to blizzard's protection. But this game if you know how to mod is one of the best out there for RTS games.

I think, space marines and chaos are the easiest races here. But I like them (the) most . :)

They are quite tough, you can equip them with nice weapons- like heavy bolter or missile launcher . There are tanks, walkers so yeah, i like them :)

ok since both of seem to know what ur talking about i got a problem.... i got a comp from a friend a while back that he biult and when i first got it i could play company of heroes all on highest quality and everything but now i get something on startup that say "scanning ide.... fastrak controller not connected to drive bios not installed" and now wont play any games higher than maybe "empire at war " quality and says when i try that i should turn my graphics down when they as low as poss.
