the m40a3 is better that the m200, cuz the m200 is a prototype for the USMC, and had major problems with it,the m200 is the intervention. the m40a3 is a simple bolt action opperated sniper rifle, it uses a 7.62x51 cartridge, which is insanely acurate. on the other hand the m200 uses a .408 Chey Tac, which, is a new version of the

30-06 calibre, but with a different head with a shrapnel tracer, which causes it to sort of melt (or shrink) when fired. so they are putting back into examination...
