I have a 2002 SAAB Viggen 5-door hatch and mine is heavily tuned (suspension included) but I still get 30+ mpg in combined cycle. I take an S2000 any time, even around a track. Oh, and one more thing, if you flip an S2000, all of your brains will be splattered all over the pavement, and that will hurt.

It was a V-tec Si with like 190 hp, they tuned it with everything they could, all but a turbo. So, as a rule of thumb, anyone who tells you they have boosted their honda and are running stock internals, are usually lying to you or they're waiting for their honda to explode.

i have a 07 gt i have auto because they didnt sell any manuals in my country, its a fast car and its good for 0-60 in 6secs, but it could be faster if it didnt shift gears at 6.5k rpms even with the steptronic on :(

The computer can shift WAY faster than you can. Also off the line with the proper stall speed you will have flawless AWD launches everytime without ever ringing off a gear like in a manual. The manual may be more fun to drive but an auto will kill everytime if you build it right.

a stage 2 is putting close to 290 tq at the wheels. leave the line in first gear with awd biting in. no honda out pulls it. and stage 2 whp is greater than the chp of that s2k.
but in this case they weren't launching from red light...but yeah, pull that turbo out and you aint got shiat...shure american muscle's great but you put a damn truck engine in a passenger vehicle and you have a american muscle...haha

omg i love Legacy's!!! pretty much a WRX with a beautiful body. Dude Subaru has a very quick 5spd auto, probably best auto tranny i can think of at the moment. VERY torquey and shifts fast, keeps the turbo spoolin. damn that Scooby is a tough competitor. S2000's are strong too.
I wanted a WRX soo bad until I saw a legacy GT, they look better, cost less to insure, more comfy inside, and i personally think they look more sinister all murdered out than a WRX .

From a dig, i can keep 1 car length on an S2000 and pull away arounf 80mph. That when I was stage 2. Right now I have an Upgraded 5eat and upgraded 20G turbo. I can smoke an S2000 at any speeds by 10 cars.

omg i love Legacy's!!! pretty much a WRX with a beautiful body. Dude Subaru has a very quick 5spd auto, probably best auto tranny i can think of at the moment. VERY torquey and shifts fast, keeps the turbo spoolin. damn that Scooby is a tough competitor. S2000's are strong too.

the legacy is better looking, bigger, looks like an adult car, isnt stripped out on the inside, bigger brakes, more power...need i say more?
prior to the 09 265hp wrx...the wrx has been slower than the legacy. check the weights as well. we arent that much heavier at all either.
afaik the legacy is cheaper to insure as well.

I wanted a WRX soo bad until I saw a legacy GT, they look better, cost less to insure, more comfy inside, and i personally think they look more sinister all murdered out than a WRX .

our 3rd gear is very long. shift at 61 then again at 95. the dead spot is 61-80 or so then it goes like mad.
4th gear ratio is very similar to the manual legacy.

sorry. mine short shifts at 95 in auto mode but in manual auto the redline is almost 105mph or right there.

the auto's 2nd gear not 4th is the closet to the manual 's 2nd gear. the rest are spread too far.

its ok, but i generally hate all honda products i have had nothing but trouble and unreliability from honda. But my subaru is a FUCKING TANK! Always starts, never loses traction unless im doing it on purpose, and has put many hondas to shame. But i guess its just a matter of opinion.

I used to own an S2000 myself. S2000 cost at least $10,000 for a decent turbo set up, upgraded clucth and rear end.

yeah that it did^^. Those 2.5I Engine's are really somthing else...I mean that Subaru weighs in at 3400 lbs, with an automatic able to out pull a sports car that weighs much less. Thats saying somthing.

Maybe he has the crappy LGT without the AT sportshift, but an MT stage 2 Legacy gt makes 0-100 in less than 12secs, the 2007 s2000 doesnt even get close to it @ 14.3seconds to reach 100 mph. 2007 s2000 > 2002 s2000 with CAI.

From a dig, i can keep 1 car length on an S2000 and pull away arounf 80mph. That when I was stage 2. Right now I have an Upgraded 5eat and upgraded 20G turbo. I can smoke an S2000 at any speeds by 10 cars.

AEM V2 intake (not needed) = $200
Gutted Downpipe = FREE
Total: $250 (Best bang for the buck)
