The Tea Party call is to reduce immigration, then get rid of anchor baby layws, and cut visas in half. And 64% of American agree! And your only 9% of the vote!

The only way to reduce immigration is by giving out a reform and no, it's actually Mexico that has been generous with the United States. Just imagine how much the economy would go up once millions of illegals start applying for citizenship. Let's not mention that since the 1986 Simpson/Mazzoli bill, those made legal, was able to bring into the United States their extended family members. That although they signed an affidavit to support them, many ended up at the the taxpayers expense.

Anybody who understands macroeconomics knows that these illegals will be an injection to the positive and progessive flow of the economy. If you would do your research they already add a significant percentage to the countries GDP. Also baby boomers will be retiring soon and vacancies in jobs will need to be filled by immigrants because white people are not having babies.

@ben5017 , if you are Mexican you cannot come legally-all visas are denied. A visa costs no more than $100, but never provided, illegal crossing is $3000. If people could come on a visa, who would risk their life and walk thru the hot desert for days with no certain success? Think, think, think before talking. Noone wants to be illegal. Your ancestors were simply lucky the laws were different so all they had to do was show up and citizenship was for anyone who wanted it.
